Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Kentucky

First off, I have never wrote a review for anything and my experience made me have to. First it's a busy Sunday so I get it, but it took over 10 minutes for us to even get seated, the time management in this establishment is a joke. There was about 5 or 6 people in the back "cooking" and 2 servers. When we first got there we noticed tables not being cleaned off for a long time, once we got seated the booth in front of us didn't even get cleaned off for 50 minutes! Unacceptable I'd hope for any establishment. We ordered and waited 40 minutes for our food, once we recieved, on all of our plates (3) the amount of fries given was seriously lacking. My daughters corndogs were overcooked, my husband didn't receive any garden veggies on his burger, I told him to ask the server to get some, he said "I would be finished with my burger before I'd even receive it" we didn't receive our milkshakes until after we got our food. So we go for 40 minutes no water no milkshakes. Either this location needs to shut down or hire completely new people. There was no order there was no customer service. And the line to wait to pay, I was first in line, took another 10 minutes. The manager was working the grill with the 5 other people already back there, 2 servers on the floor trying to get orders on the floor, a line almost out the door to even be waited to be seated. I figure the manager should have done better at picking who she should help. Help was lacking everywhere, no communication. It just was a complete joke. I still gave a tip bc I know that's how the servers make their income but something really needs to be done for this location or they'll be the reason that location will fail. I myself will never come back to this particular restaurant location. I will go out of my way to go to the one in Florence. Changes needs to be made if you're wanting success for...

Terrible service, long wait times, but food is awesome. We waited at the register to order to go for 10 minutes before anyone noticed us. When the girl finally came up to the register she cashed out a check that someone else left because they got tired of waiting, still didn't acknowledge us and walked away until we said something to her about needing to order. Mind you we were standing right in front of the register looking at her. When we got our food the buns we're rock hard. But they did replace the food quickly. There was a line out the door waiting to be seated the entire time we were there and nobody got to them until around 15 min after our arrival. There was a couple that came up to pay for their food right after we arrived and nobody paid them any attention even after the girl got our order. They asked to be paid out several times with nobody coming to help so they threatened to leave and yet still nobody came up to the register by the time we left. There was only 3 tables at the time with customers so it's not as if they were slammed and there were multiple employees standing around talking and working slowly during this time so I feel safe assuming they weren't on break. It was the absolute worst service we have ever had at any resturaunt. We go there expecting a long wait time that's worth it for amazing food and shakes but this...

I was the ONLY car in drive thru. Prior to getting there, I called to place my order so it would be ready for pick up when I got there. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes which is the time it took to drive there. I was getting food for people who were on break at work and only had a limited time to eat. I hung up when I pulled up to tge speaker. The lady told me to hold on a minute and then asked what I would like to order after 3 minutes. I only needed 2 sandwiches, one order of fries, and 2 sides of cheese sauce. The order wasn't repeated back to me and I was told that she would have my total at the window. I pull up to the window and was there another 10 minutes before even being greeted. The order still wasn't repeated back to me. She gave me my food and took my card I assume up front. Why the register in drive thru wasn't working, I dont know. When I left and looked in the bag I had 2 orders of fries and no cheese sauce. I was already running late to get the food to my coworkers that I sped off without worrting about it. What angers me is that I use to work 3rd shift and manage a steak n shake. This one has NO sense of urgency whatsoever on 3rd shift. Not everyone that visits a 24 hr store at those late/early hours is a drunk or just not in a hurry.
