Sbarro Woodland — Restaurant in Kentwood

I love pizza, and why wouldn't I, cause I'm Italian. I originally tried Sbarro out of convenience and quick service. Pizza by the slice has always been really good. One visit I decided to take a chance at ordering the spaghetti. WOW... I WAS AMAZED!!! Then, I got more adventurous at my next visit and started adding their meatballs and I was SUPER IMPRESSED!! The sauce was OUTSTANDING AND LEGIT!! I mean Grandma herself couldn't have made this any more delicious, tasteful, and flavorful. Spaghetti and meatballs is now a "standard" every 2-3 weeks I visit. Toss in a few of the best ever breadsticks cteated on Earth and even someone who is a skeptic will become a TRUE BELIEVER! I even request for additional sauce to sop up with my breadsticks and the staff is always happy to ablige. I'm being 150% completely honest when I say my pallet, tastebuds, and that little vouce inside my head calls out "FORCING ME BACK" to Sbarro's for more spaghetti and meatballs every few weeks. Everything from service to atmosphere was terrible. The manager took an already opened and used drink out of our hands because of an error on the workers explanation on pricing of the food. Me and my husband got the marinara spaghetti and a small salad with a small drink. Coming to 29 dollars. The pasta had a half inch of oil coating it which was disgusting and on top of that I am vegetarian and there was a bone that looked like a part of a tooth that was also in my food. It was a meal that should have been less than a dollar. Way overpriced a waste of good money and would recommend avoiding this place...

We went here yesterday for the first time for my 6 year old son. He wanted pizza. We got a simple slice of cheese pizza. After a couple bites he refused to eat it and was begging to go home. It made no sense. My husband tried the pizza and he said th pizza tasted like chemicals, like they poorly wiped down surfaces and left chemical residue or didn’t rinse the soap off dishes before serving.
