Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My recent experience at Doss's Old Fashion Ice Cream and Hot Dogs left me utterly delighted and satisfied. After reading rave reviews online, I decided to pay a visit, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations in every way.
Upon entering Doss's, I was immediately struck by the charming ambiance and nostalgic decor. The friendly staff greeted me warmly and guided me through their impressive menu, which showcased an extensive selection of tantalizing hot dogs and mouthwatering ice cream flavors.
Let's start with the hot dogs—I opted for the classic beef hot dog, and it was a masterpiece. The bun was flawlessly toasted and provided a perfect balance between softness and slight crispness. The hot dog itself was juicy, bursting with flavor, and grilled to perfection. I appreciated the attention to detail, as each ingredient was thoughtfully chosen, resulting in a harmonious symphony of flavors. The variety of condiments available allowed me to customize my hot dog to my liking, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
Now, onto the ice cream. Doss's truly understands the art of crafting delectable frozen treats. With a plethora of unique flavors to choose from, making a decision was both exciting and challenging. After careful consideration, I opted for a double scoop of their famed chocolate chip cookie dough. The moment the ice cream touched my tongue, I was transported to a world of pure bliss. The chocolate chip cookie dough was generously studded with delectable chunks, adding a delightful texture to the creamy base. The quality of the ice cream was outstanding, and it was evident that only the finest ingredients were used to create these frozen delights.
The service at Doss's was impeccable. The staff members were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their offerings. They took the time to answer my questions, offer recommendations, and ensure that my visit was memorable. The attention to detail and genuine care for the customers truly set this establishment apart.

Read moreLet me start by saying I come in at least once a week. Usually more. I've never cared much for the service or food but it's acceptable and I like to support smaller businesses. Today tho, it took about 20 minutes to receive my food, it wasn't crazy busy. But what made me post this very neutral review, was I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich.... requested Swiss, after asking if they have it. Without any warning, they made my meal and put a piece of white American on. I noticed a few bites in that this is definitely not swiss... when I politely asked, I was told it's "America swiss" between that and getting a sandwich multiple times here that looks like a child put it together and had to rebuild it before enjoying, I figured it was time to make a review. The food is OK, and service is OK. No more no less... but the communication between ordering and getting what you thought you orders is a little unacceptable in my opinion. "American" Swiss is America cheese, and in no way is Swiss cheese. Make that known when someone ask for Swiss because I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be very surprised when their sandwich taste funny when you expect one cheese and get another.... it's like asking for cheddar and getting American, then saying it's "American cheddar" and paying 1 dollars for a slice, I'd expect it to be real Swiss.
Thank...
