Holly Nails Spa — Local services in Kernersville

If I could give this place zero star I would. I came into this nail salon and was completely disregard by the staff and treated rudely compared to the other customers in the salon. I walked inside and was barely greeted by the staff and I was told to sit and made to wait for about 30 minutes while the services the other non-black customers. Two additional women came into the establishment and were immediately serviced and treated with respect. Even the other customer noticed the difference of treatment by the staff with the other customers compared to me. I didn’t initially notice that they were servicing the other women because they sat me in the back of the salon. Once I noticed how I’ve been completely ignored all this time while they were helping other customers that came in after me I left. The staff just looked at each other while the other customers stared and watched me leave. I’m disgusted by everyone that’s working at this establishment, and they should be embarrassed of themselves for the blatant disrespect and racism that was demonstrated today. I doubt they’ll ever hold themselves accountable or change their ways just by how bold they are. Today was my first time here ever. I am So happy I came! I came because I seen the good reviews.As soon as I hit the doors everyone greeted me and showed me where to pick my nail color. The inside is very nice and clean. My nail tech was Jennifer. She is amazing and funny. I got a gel mani and pedi. She took her time and was NOT pushy trying to get me to do this and that. I really liked how she asked if I wanted it cut down and how thick I wanted my French tip; because some places will just sit you in the chair and do what they want. The pricing here is very good. I also had a complimentary Diet Coke 🤗 She took her time and we had good conversation as well. Everyone there is very friendly and professional. They make it about YOUR nails and what you WANT! I have been going to this business, Tommy particularly, to have my nails done SNS for a few months now. I have always loved the results, but as this was my only experience getting SNS, I didn’t have a basis for comparison as to how good they really are until recently when I visited another Nail Salon. The results after going to the other business in nearby Winston-Salem were awful; several of my nails didn’t hold up for three days, and started to crack and break.

Comparing that to the three weeks they have stayed looking great after a visit to Holly Nails, and the price, and that they will fix a break for free if it happens within a couple of weeks of getting them done, now I truly understand how great the folks at Holly Nails really are.
