Folly's- Draft & Snack — Restaurant in Kernersville

Been here twice. The first time was a very good experience. This last time however, both mine and my wife's beers were as flat as a board, just awful tasting.

In response to the owner's follow-up; as an experienced home brewers with 10 years, and far too many $$ spent in breweries throughout the midwest and south, I could likely give you an education in beer styles. I don't ask for refunds and consider it part of the risk of getting something I've never had. I had an Oktoberfest and I "thi k" it was from Southern Pines. It had a carbonation issue. I know as I've had the same thi g on batches I've kegged! My wife,honestly, I don't recall what she had,but it was probably a Hefe. Not sure what brewery. Carbonation was fine, but the gaste was off. Ugh. Been going to Folly’s since 2020. Just left Blue Rock and Little Brother and planned to finish the night at folly’s. Had an issue “swiping” 2 different debit cards previously used at Blue Rock. I guess I misunderstood what “I can only swipe” meant, because when I asked if I could tap and pay with Apple Pay, it was responded to with “ I can say it 6 more times, but I CAN ONLY SWIPE”. Geez….. I’m sure I’ve been there before and a card was manually entered, but I guess it would’ve taken too long. Ended up finishing the night off at Social Habit. Their systems had no issue with either card. I’m sure I’m not the only one with “swiping” issues at Folly’s. Come on...

Sweeeet vibe at this cozy bar 🧚🏽‍♀️ good tunes and very cool aesthetic. The decorations riddled around the room are interesting and capture your eye— think vintage but edgy Americana. There are many options of bevs on tap, I think about 40, so there will be something for everyone in your group. It’s a casual and welcoming dive that makes you feel a part of the scene even as a first timer. Staff is nice and helpful. Many seating options inside and outside , board games and trinkets to play with, foosball, TVs and even a free popcorn machine!!!
