Updated review: The past few times that I have called and placed a pick up order everything has been great. Pleasant and friendly staff answering the phone, taking the order and then reading it back to me to make sure that they have it correct. When I walk in to pick it up someone has been there greeting me and asking how can they help me today. My order was ready to go. I paid then checked it and everything was just as I had requested. Everybody enjoyed their meal. All around improvement. You might have to call a time or two during their busiest hours but they will pick up as soon as they can and for me I think it's worth it. All of the staff have been really nice but one guy and one lady are extremely nice and will converse with you. To me that adds a special element. It makes it a pleasant interaction and atmosphere. I wish I knew their names so the managers could know that they both go above and beyond to make the whole process more enjoyable instead of thinking about "how much is this going to cost me or is everything correct". I would like to be able to give it 5 stars because the food is good and the people are really nice and friendly. The atmosphere is always welcoming. But everytime I order from here something is always wrong. Either something is left off the order and I have to end up waiting for them to cook the item that I know I ordered but didn't get put in, all while the rest of my order gets cold. Plus I have to pay twice. And if by chance everything I ordered is actually all in the bag then something is not done correctly. Like for example I ordered something with tomato and onion and it will actually still have it on there. One of the two things happen almost every time and that makes me hesitant from ordering and having to deal with the mistakes and the fact that I'm upset about it and feel like I can't express that frustration because they are all nice and pleasant and I understand that mistakes can be made but come on pay attention! Now, today, no greeting entering, no hostess saying her name, and no asking me about my experience during leaving. I ordered the black and blue burger and fries and I asked for extra mayonnaise which should mean both parts of the bread. Carrying on .. the food came and I tasted the fries first which was ok. I asked for extra mayonnaise before tasting the burger. The meat had grissle in it and was not done to my liking. I forgot to tell them to cook it well done. I told the waitress about it and she just said "Oh!" No apology anywhere! That tells me your establishment doesn't care! This will be my last time here due to the terrible customer service and food. Normally I got breakfast. Now my original review is below which nobody ever responded to. Also, multiple booths dirty this time around. Could not leave a tip!! Not with that attitude. And the girl only came by once to check when I told her about my burger. A great response would have been apologize first and offer to make it over or get something else.
First review: This was my first time eating here. There was an immediate greeting when entering the establishment. The food was good and I will post the photos as well. This was an extremely fast turnaround time for serving. The food was hot and fresh and it did not need any seasoning. Spot on with the taste! The portion size was good. Read moreThis restaurant originally received a 5 star rating on my first visit. Let's talk about the good first... our waitress was super nice and friendly. The sweet tea was good. The manager brought out the meals for my wife and I and then she said this baked potato looked a little rough as she sat it down in front of me. She then said if it's not good I'll bring you something else. That comment caught me by surprise. The fried okra was delicious. The chopped steak was just o.k.The baked potato was hard, cold and tasted not like any other baked potato I've ever had. I believe it had been sitting around or ? Words can't describe the taste. It was pretty nasty to be honest. The cornbread was soggy and tasted horrible. I Do Not like leaving bad reviews for any reason, but why would you serve your customer(s) a meal like the way it was presented. I'm not hard to get along with. I rarely ever complain, but these folks earned this review. I have about 200 reviews I've submitted for Google and I could probably count the bad ones on 1 hand, that's it. As a Google Guide I try to fair and understanding in each review I submit. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt to whomever. In the end the manager decided she wouldn't charge me for my meal, and that's fine but I can't accept the fact that she knew she was serving me something that might not be good.
