Super unprofessional! I purchased a defective mattress, that was under warranty so I visited the store to have it exchanged. The Mattress Outlet of Kernersville no longer carried this model because of the defect. The salesmen suggested a poorer quality mattress as a replacement. I was not interested in a downgrade. Since the store enforces a no refund policy I instead paid the additional fees to exchange for a model they did have in stock. I was informed the mattress would be delivered in 3 days. Since paying them it has been almost 2 weeks and I have not received my mattress. I’ve called the store and the owner. The owner does not answer calls. The store continues to say my mattress will be delivered tomorrow but I never receive calls or updates for reasons as to why I’m still not receiving my mattress for info. I shouldn’t have to wonder, guess, and continue reaching out to this company that has already been paid for a product I haven’t received. The company could be much more responsible, especially after payment, on communicating what is exactly going on. I feel they see this situation as an exchange and low priority. When the reality is the company stopped carrying the same mattress I originally purchased because there was clearly a problem with the product. I paid for the original, as well as the upgrade... the problem with the quality of inventory is not the customer’s responsibility. Overall I would not recommend shopping here. It's easy to write a review when everything goes right. Here is a review about when something went wrong and how it was handled... My wife and I bought a mattress and loaded it in our UHaul. When we got it home 20 miles away and dropped the UHaul back off, we discovered the mattress had a significant issue. Fully expecting a run-around and some kind of excuse or 'reason', I was a little surprised when I called back to the store and was met with "I am so sorry to hear that! Ill get another one over there within the hour. In fact, just to make sure you are perfectly happy and in hopes you can feel comfortable referring us in the future, I am going to bring you the upgraded mattress you were looking at." And within the hour our new upgraded mattress arrived and the defective one was gone. I want to emphasize that at no point during my call did I meet resistance, arguments or anything other than an immediate apology and satisfactory resolution to the problem.
