McDonald's — Restaurant in Kernersville

Do not go to this particular McDonald's exit 49 at Concord mills exit. I sat in drive thru for 20 minutes. After sitting there for 20 minutes waiting to get my order the drive thru girl tells me to pull in designated parking. She didnt offer a explanation for reason it was taking so long. I had order a cheeseburger combo and a mc chicken ,2 med frie and 2 large sweet teas. So I pulled in designated space and I wait another 15 to 20 minutes more. So I told my grandson I would walk in to get our order after I seen a car in drive thru get their order and I didnt get mine. That car was behind me in drive thru I go in and finally got a really nice worker and told him I wanted my money back. I see him go and tell manager who I could see very well and another person in office with her we made eye contact. Neither one of these people came to front to apologize for the inconvenience. Manager and that other woman just looked at me and manager got up and moved further back in store so I could not see her. The nice guy fixed my sandwiches and told driv thru girl to hand them to me. She didn't ask if I needed anything else I told her 3 times I had 2 med fries and 2 teas that goes with my order. She just looks dumbfounded. I finally got my order and no manager came to front to apologize to me or other customers that had been waiting on their order also. When your a manager and your short on employees you get up off your butt and help your employees you dont move out of eye sight. Never will I go to this particular....

HORRIBLE. I was employed here. It was great when i started..friendly faces, lots of help, etc. well that all changed in less than 3 months. Managers started quitting, and they started makin 19&20 year old kids the managers. Tasks never got completed, and i was ALWAYS asked to do another persons job. Well fast forward to the Friday, 2 days before Easter. I called out because i was in the hospital for my anemia (low iron) and was written out until that Monday. BY MY DOCTOR. So i look at the schedule and i am suspended for a WHOLE WEEK because of my absences. So i told the manager i would not be returning considering i wasn’t the only person to call out, but i WAS the only person to get suspended for it. REMIND YOU I HAD A DOCTORS NOTE. I felt like i was being treated unfairly so, i quit. I got paid my last paycheck and that was it...so i thought. I set a Christmas fund up for money to be taken out of my paychecks. When i saw that money wasn’t on my last paycheck i started calling. It took me TWO WEEKS to get a straight answer, and you know what they tell me...it won’t be mailed out until November. I have tried contacting John Nash the owner several times and left several messages. He has answered and hung up on me. I have two children that i have to look after and it doesn’t bother them ONE BIT. They STILL have my money, and to be honest i don’t even think I’ll get it...

We orded at the kiosk so I didn't have to talk to a human. The kiosk says you must have a table tent number to proceed with the order. When your food is ready they still set it on the counter and expect you to get the food yourself. Not a huge deal, but it isn't a reflection of the service the kiosk sets you up to expect.

The food is fine here. Both times I have come they get it right. The place appears clean and doesn't stink like some places. (I worked in restaurants for over a decade and will never forget the smell of some places.)

What really bothers me is the creepy guy that hangs out in the closet next to the fountain machines. He was there the last time I came in. He stands in there looking at his phone, or picking his nose, then "cleans" the fountain machine area. Then he touches his face, and gets called to run food out to someone outside. Pretty gross. Also, he keeps his drink next to the fountain machine. The health inspector would definitely take some points away for that one. Honestly I don't know how he has gotten away with his behaviour for months. I would bring it up with management there, but clearly no one present cares that they are paying a guy to be unsanitary and lazy.

I will probably take my daughter again, but I hope that guy...
