I go to this location all of the time and has never had a problem. My experience on Friday (9/30/22) was very disappointing. My order was simple and I paid with cash. First, let me start off by letting you know that I never say anything not unless something is wrong with my order or I was overcharged. Unfortunately I was overcharged and because I was made to feel like it was all my fault I let Zaxby's keep $2 dollars that was due to me because of the young lady at the drive thru window. My order was $8.44, I gave the young lady $10.50, according to the math I was doing in my head, I was owed $2.06. Once I realized the mistake I corrected her and all she could say to me is she gave me back what the cash register rung up, I thought if you do the math in your head you would know that the cash register is wrong. Somehow she rung it up as only me giving her $8.50, SMH. Anyhow there was another young lady there that did not seem to eager to want to help me out, so the young lady at the window says to me did I want my $1 back as if it belonged to her, I shook my head and drove off because it was a lot of attitude coming from inside the restaurant for no reason. By the time I got home I was annoyed and furious so I called the restaurant and spoke to the other individual that was there. She proceeded to let me know that the young lady had a family issue and was going through something. So what she done to me and how she made me feel was okay? I am the customer and I am not suppose to correct someone when they make a mistake, it is my hard earned money that paid for that meal. Did she ever stop to think about how she was treating me or if I was going through anything? I really hope she did not miscalculate money the rest of the night or treat other customers the way she treated me. As a customer and as nice as I was being about the situation I should have been treated with a little more respect. I am a very understanding individual and if she would have just accepted fault and apologized without taking it to another level I would not be posting this negative review. So very...
Read moreLocation does not follow corporate policies in the slightest. Have worked at other locations and this one does not do it well. Employees appear disheveled and not put together, look overworked and underpaid by how miserable they seem. Food is so dry and chewy my only explanation is that they ignore the corporate hold times for how long food is considered servable. If you peer into the back at all you'll be greeted with clean counters(Unless you want them to be clean where the food is being made, that's where it's the DIRTIEST). If you want anything else to be clean you'll have to go somewhere else. Floor in the back looked terrible near the end of the day, leads me to believe they only clean it once a day, leads me to believe they just don't care about maintaining cleanliness. While I was there a couple months back had a discussion with one of the managers who seemed to be developing Stockholm Syndrome with the customers, with a "we're all in this terrible situation together" mentality. Talked to me about some of the things they don't maintain, such as the tub used for breading all of the chicken tenders throughout the day, I was told is only cleaned daily. Read moreFirst one many thing I have to say I’ve seen my fair share of restaurants as a DoorDash Delivery Driver this is possibly one of the few restaurants I’ve encountered that are really friendly and compassionate about what they do the food I see come out of the kitchen looks and smells amazing they even gave me updates on my orders that I’ve came to pick up even telling me it would be a decent wait for a MTO meal that I had been assigned I was more then happy with how they went about it and telling me about it even taking care of me when I asked to pay for a drink they just offered it to me with kindness a rarity among restaurants. If higher management sees/reads this post know that this Kernersville location is one of the best kept and friendly restaurants in my list of places that I find to go above beyond (my list is short and this place is definitely at the top).
