Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Kerrville

Having just moved to Kerrville, we came here for the first time on a weekday for lunch, as it was familiar to us. Chili’s is one of our favorite places to eat during our travels across the country. We know to expect good service, good options, and good food. The only positive here was that we were seated right away. However as we were taken to our seats I realized the reason we didn’t have to wait was that there were so many empty tables. Once seated we felt invisible. We saw many staff members working and walking right by us, but no one even took our drink order. As we scanned the menu, we noticed that our favorite option that we get at every Chili’s was not on the menu. After a long wait, we saw a worker bring drinks to the folks at a nearby table. They had been there before us We heard them tell that individual that they had been waiting a long time and no one had taken their food order. The reply was that she didn’t know why, that she was working on the other side at the bar and was told to bring these drinks to them but didn’t know why their order had not been taken. Then she walked away. It was at that point that we decided to go somewhere else. We stayed long enough to be disappointed in the service and the limited menu options, but not the food. I doubt we will go back to...

Worst experience yet. I get there at 8:20 PM on a Friday night 6/29/18. There's a bit of a wait time, so I go up to all four hostes (all girls crowding one touch pad) and tell them my name. They told me it was going to be a 5 to 10 minute wait. So I said ok thank you. So I wait and see people getting in after me and getting seated. The time is now 8:50pm and I still haven't been called to get seated. So my friend that was with me went up and asked what was going on. Well come to find out, my name wasn't on the list to be seated this whole time. After they told me they had it down. So now I have to wait even longer. 9:20 PM comes around and someone finally asks if we would like to sit at a bar, but yet there are quite few clean tables to be seated at. We get seated outside at a dirty bar. Our waiter took our drinks (water) and brought them out to us. He disappears for 20 minutes. No one says anything to us. He finally comes back and says he was busy with to go orders, meaning he wasn't assigned to be a waiter for the night. So my friend and I both leave. Terrible service!! This isn't the first time it's happened. Every time I go, the hosts look like they hate their lives and job. No smile or anything. Just a follow me to your table...

A lot better now that they have redone their menu! Beautiful veiws if seated in the right area or the back patio. Margaritas are a little weak -

• The last time my Husband and I went, we did not have a tablet-type thing on our table... You order from this, you can pay to play silly little games, etc. When we left, we noticed a $2.00 Entertainment Fee on our receipt. The best we can figure is - This is normal and kinda weird. OR - The (kinda obnoxious kiddos with very little discipline observed) Parents at the table next to us that had TEO tablet-type things at their table ordered a game for the Children in an effort to get them to settle down a bit (didn't work...) and since that tablet belonged at our table, it charged us...? If not, and we paid $2.00 to be Entertained by our Waiter who checked on us throughout the meal - that's weird. Veggies I had with my meal were AWESOME. SO crisp and not overcooked. Loaded Mashed were kind of ... Dry and bland? Something needs to be added there... Husband had the Gigantic Burger and loved it. Will return. The 2 for $22 is a pretty good deal but with no option for SW Eggrolls as the...
