We used to take our friends to the Alpine Lodge Restaurant for Sunday brunch when we had a special event. The decor was charming with the German/Swiss cuckoo clocks, the dessert tables had beautifully-displayed and made-from-scratch deliciousness, the made-to-order omelettes were a treat and service was fantastic. Service is still fantastic, but what happened?!?! The entire buffet is a fraction of what they had, obviously doesn't have the same level of chef preparation, and the special ambiance is gone.
