I usually don't do bad reviews but tonight was a disaster. It started with a young lady trying to take my order. She was having challenges because she was new to the job. This was not a big deal everyone has a learning curve. We did not get our cups so I was told that I could pick up my own cups. Food came out and it was missing my daughter's food and my mashed potatoes. I politely asked for the food that was missing. I was told that there was no mashed potatoes from the manager who seemed as if he could careless that a customer was asking for their food. After getting the food my daughter went to get her drink from the fountain dispenser. The fruit punch dispenser sprayed water and soda sideways and all over my daughters hand. I got drinks for my wife and I and there was no lids for the large cups. I went back to the counter to ask for lids and there was no one there. The 2 male employees were outside conversations (watching everything going on) the young girl and the manager were in the back of the kitchen nowhere to be found. One of the guys finally came inside and I asked him if there were lids for the cups. He said no lids and they haven't had them for 3 months. My family and I had to drive home trying to not spill drinks and very unhappy with our experience at the Kerrville Popeye this evening.    Read moreWOW! What a disappointment this place has become. I keep giving them chance after chance to improve but it's not happening. Too bad, I like Popeyes chicken, tenders, sandwiches and sides but the quality of this location has continually declined. They are closely following the footsteps of Jack in the Box. The food yesterday had been re-heated at least twice, the chicken under the crust had a grey tint, it was dry and the mash potatoes were lukewarm at best. Let's not EVEN talk about the person on the counter who absolutely hates his job. I had to greet him to place my order, I had to ask him if he wanted to know what sides I wanted. I flat out asked him if he was unhappy at his job and he said "I don't wanna talk about it" and walked off. They are consistently out of different products... hot sauce, napkins, straws...etc. I blame management (or lack of), they used to have an involved manager when they opened and the quality and speed of the food was always great and the service was too, haven't seen him in a long time. Straws and sauce were forgotten so we went back through the drive thru (lobby was closed) we had to wait awhile (food was getting cold) When we got to the speaker we kindly told the lady our straws and sauce were forgotten. Got to the window and was ignored. Then when she finally acknowledged us she couldnât let us get a word in (she thought we were the car behind us since we didnât actually have a order in.. just trying to get our stuff) she handed us straws and 2 sauces (we were suppose to have 6) ..we asked for the others and she VERY rudely replied that we needed to pay for them although my receipt says differently. Chunked them in my husbands hands and closed the window. Absolutely horrible. Suzanne (according to my receipt) shouldnât be working the window much less with people in general.
