Mary's Tacos — Restaurant in Kerrville

If your priority is bulk filler over well cooked food with flavor this is it!

These delicious tortillas a made slightly large so you'll fill up on flour (aka carbs) and feel fuller. If you don't eat your taco right away the tortilla will get soft and break.

Salsa was bland and there wasn't anything spicy like a green sauce to be seen.

Paid extra for a special taco. Was supposed to have Machado. There was dried meat dust boiled potatoes bits of cilantro all in a red sauce. It was the smallest taco.

They seem to be cooking eggs in such large batches the eggs don't fry brown or cook from making contact with the pans. So the eggs steam and boil and they end up pale and curdled looking with no flavor. My bacon and egg taco looked like curdled egg whites with bacon bits sprinkled on top.

This place is a victim of its own success. They try to cook more at once to keep up with more orders. So their food starts tasting worse. All that flavor sacrificed so they can keep up with the demand that was created because it once tasted so good.

Open another place or expand the kitchen. Id rather pay more or wait longer or have a smaller taco that tastes good than what your serving. And get your salsa game up to speed. It's the least...

Words aren’t good enough- you have to go to Mary’s. It’s a mix of everyone, crazy fun ordering and service and just waiting in line and then watching them whip it all out in seconds is the bomb! But lordy- the BEST made as you order tortillas- literally- and then they have so much volume everything is fresh and hot. We take everyone who visits here and Mary’s is my one monthly cheat off my diet. Love it and blessed we have our Mary’s the way it is- note- Kerrville Mary’s tacos location has same quality of food but is not at all fun and wild like Boerne’s location. My boyfriend set out today to explore new breakfast/brunch/lunch places in Kerrville since we are new to town and are already sick of the Ihop, Denny's, and Cracker Barrel. And boy did we hit the jackpot! Mary's Tacos is a cute little place on Broadway, quick to miss if you aren't looking hard enough, with the most amazing breakfast/lunch tacos you have ever had.
