I use to love Schlotzky's for their amazing sandwiches. So I was excited to try this one out. There have been a lot of changes to my beloved place and not all for good. First the prices!! Can we say WOW!! You look and think it is the combo price and the. You find out that is just the sandwich 🥪 🙄 price. Mine was over 9 bucks. The you add on the combo for another 3 dollars. So I am thinking 🤔 this is going to be amazing right??? Well you would be wrong. The sandwich was dry and the meat tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp too long. (Can you say 👞 shoe leather) my daughter said hers was good and so did my son-in-law so it might have been just mine. The combo comes with a bag of trips and medium soda. For three of us it cost over $60. The only extra I got was a cup of soup that was tiny for the price and one cinnamon roll (which was not bad but would have been better warm not cold). Definitely disappointed and you had to wait over 15 min in line and another 25 for the food. They give you no condiments and you have to go and wait in line to get anything they didn't give you....
Read moreI got the turkey avocado cob salad to-go, and wow. I can’t believe that you care SO little about what you give your customers. Not kept to give to customers because that product hasn’t been selling and you’re trying to cut costs. What if I was old and the food poisoning your eggs gave me killed me? Simple fix would be for me to never get the eggs, right? But just think of all the other gross unsanitary things that could be happening to, and around, the food you order from here, because they obviously care so little about BASIC food safety and about the people eating this food, and are only worried about the few cents it’s...
Read moreStopped in Kerrville for dinner, but it was approx. 8:30 pm, so we were indecisive about dining in, as they close at 9pm, but it’s not easy to enjoy a Schlotzky’s sandwich while driving, sooooo….we took a chance. The entire staff was so friendly, and our sandwiches were definitely made with love! To the cheerful young lady who greeted us as we arrived, took our order and wished us well on the way out, THANK YOU! To the kind young man from the kitchen who served us our sandwiches, and was so pleasant, THANK YOU! As we were leaving, another guest came in to order and asked about dining in. The staff said, “sure you can. We’ll just unlock the door for you when you’re ready to go.”...
