Since my post was flagged for being false, despite the owner Neil doing exactly as I said he would, and going online and posting about this on facebook, I figured I'd provide some much needed context. I do enjoy being called petty and entitled and being, once again, confused for a family that has a restaurant.

On Saturday, 9/2, Alter High School, class of 2003 (GO KNIGHTS!!!) had their 20 yr high school reunion at Eudora. It started off nicely, everyone was great. I cannot stress this enough: NO ONE SHOWED UP DRUNK. Neil can make these assumptions and claims all he wants in his replies to negative reviews, but no one was intoxicated upon arrival. Furthermore, any police that would inevitably be involved for DWI or an accident after leaving Eudora would cite Eudora for over serving and allowing a patron to drive away. Perhaps more training is necessary for the staff if the claims that we were rowdy and disruptive were true, as they were the ones serving us. But I'll give it to the Eudora staff, no one was over served. No one was fall down drunk. The biggest complaint we probably could have received was that we blocked the bar way too much and that annoyed the staff. Understandably so. I'll even concede that at one point for a group photo, someone unaffiliated with the party but there on behalf of Alter, asked a family eating dinner to borrow a chair, which is rude. Totally agree with that sentiment.

But as for the overarching disagreement that transpired, the "altercation" as it's apparently known by the staff, consisted of one bartender who had been pretty short with everyone all night and has numerous reviews to that effect right here on google, misinterpreted a heavy Lebanese accent as slurred speech and became embarrassed when she was called to explain herself. Of course she'll say it was disorderly drunk guests, no one wants to be branded a discriminatory business. But the kicker is, there's a review on here with the same sentiment regarding the same bartender. So perhaps it's not an us thing. Who knows?

I do know that Neil does take things too personally. Rather than just letting one bad review in 500 roll off his back, he decides to go on a facebook campaign calling into question the integrity of an entire class and school of people. Ridiculous. Take your lumps. Train your staff better. Understand when it's just a disagreement and move on. Now it's snowballed into what it is and the chips will fall where the may. But at the end of the day, you, Neil, were not there and are misrepresenting facts to save face. I don't really care what happens to your business and have no desire to return. Thanks for the ban!

For the record, we all safely made it to Harrigans without a single arrest or DUI, and they seemed to...

This is a HUGE space (their website says it’s “a 8,000 square-foot taproom featuring a 4,000+ square-foot patio and six glass garage doors”). Dogs are allowed on their patio.

Inside, you’re able to order food from their kitchen immediately to the left, or proceed forward to the bar and order beer. If you come to Eudora for a specific entree in mind, I do recommend you check their Facebook page first BEFORE you visit (this is based on my experience and the staff’s advice). My husband and I arrived specifically wanting to order a burger with a vegan Impossible Burger patty as a substitute; however, all the burgers were unavailable the day we visited. We didn’t realize that we should have checked their Facebook page for updates beforehand. However, the kitchen was super accommodating to our vegetarian diet, and helped us out by making us some vegetarian street tacos, which aren’t on their menu. We were super thankful for their kindness! We also ordered the hummus platter. Both the street tacos and hummus platter were delicious. Again, shout out to the staff member who helped us out on Sunday, 7/20/2025 at about 12:15PM! You are amazing!

The beer was great, too! I got a flight of 6, which is always a great way to experience what the brewery has to offer. My favorites were 1) Groove Juice, 2) Mother Fuggle, and 3) Slapshot. The bartender was awesome and friendly, too.

I can see how this place can be incredibly busy, but wow, it is spacious to accommodate a ton of people! I also LOVE the fact that the brewery is compost-positive! I am looking forward to visiting this brewery again.

NOTE ABOUT PARKING (from their website): “Parking Notice - Please do NOT park at CVS if our lot is full! Eudora guests are welcome to park at Five Rivers Church at 1450 E Dorothy Ln unless stated otherwise. Please respect this lot and exercise caution...

I had high hopes and expectations but I feel like Eudora fell short of the true potential of this building. The interior is so large the space feels cold and awkward. The layout / flow of space seems out of place, I think in this instance less would be more. We ordered food only to be told they were out of anything pork related and to choose a different item. We ended up with tacos and a burger. The checkout tablet nearly forces you to leave a tip for the order between 15-25%. So if your tipping you would expect some level of service, let me help clarify that, there is NO SERVICE, pick your own food up, clear your own table, fill your own drinks. The tacos were flavorful however the small size and cost were a disappointment. Our burger was incredibly dry, for $11 I expect it to be at least juicy and not taste like meat was lingering in the walk in for days. We ordered a flight of beers and asked for water to go with it, we were pointed to the "water station" Nothing like lukewarm water from a water fountain with no ice. Highlight of this trip was the beer was cold. Overall the whole experience for a Sunday afternoon was a disappointment. Summary: Sub Par Food, Warm...
