Found this place by Google search for Asian restaurants in the kettering area. The location is small, with very welcoming staff. They did not speak the best English and at one point used the phone to translate. A lau came in later that spoke fine, so I think that's just a matter of timing. I did however alleviate the effort to ensure we got what the order correct. Now as far as the food.... everyone was impressed with their food. One kid got a spicy noodle, one noodles and chicken, one noodles with beef, and one vegetarian. They all said the noodles were amazing and the flavor was just right. Not being a huge fan of noodles, I went with my trusted fried rice. It was cooked perfectly, with my only complaint being that they didn't have heat levels. Read moreI was so disappointed - we tried Five Grains in Hebron, KY last night. The food was very low quality. I had spring rolls, rangoons and dumplings - all tasted like they were premade frozen from a store. We also got the orange chicken with fried rice. The chicken was mostly breading and the fried rice didn't have the usual onion, peas, carrots and pork pieces - it was plain rice with soy sauce. Based on this experience I'm not planning on going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. UPDATE: The Five Grains Noodle House we got take out from last night was in Hebron, KY. I did not understand your reply and called the phone number you liste. Unfortunately the person who answered had no idea what I was talking about and could not connect me to anyone at your restaurant who manages...

We got the 'dried noodles with ground pork sauce' and the 'signature five grains noodle soup with fish filet pieces'. Both were tasty. The signature soup was quite spicy, the dried noodles were not spicy at all. The soup came out almost immediately but the dried noodles took a few minutes. They also offered a free sample of the fried fish, which was good. For me, the highlight was actually the snow pear drink, which was amazing.
Accessibility notes: There are two seating areas, one with booths and one with a couple tables with chairs. (The chairs are a little small but they do have arms.)
Overall, the place is clean and the people were quite friendly. We'll...
