Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in Killeen

I went to Bush’s Chicken on Lowe’s Blvd this morning at approximately 11:05am and pulled into the drive thru to order. Being early, I expected it to only be 1 or 2 people working outside so I waited until the employee finished with 1 customer and they drive off. He walked back inside and just stood at the register poking around at a few things and when I made eye contact with him, that’s when he came out but instead of asking me if I had been helped, he walked off to another vehicle that pulled up after me. I took off because I had to get to work. I turned around to go back to the restaurant to speak with a manager but everyone behind the counter thought it was funny and made jokes about it. The manager on duty, Caitlin, didn’t even bother to turn around to address my concern, Keith made a comment of “do you want a hug?” and the employee who blatantly ignored me as I was sitting in the drive thru decided he would argue and tell me that he asked if I had been helped. As much as I’m at that restaurant, you’d think the service would be somewhat better but it’s clear that nobody in that store had any means of making it right so I’m here leaving this review to warn other customers of the problems at this location. I will be leaving reviews on other websites as well and contacting Corporate to make sure these employees are correctly reprimanded for their actions. I highly doubt I’ll ever return to that location from this...

Disgusted as all hell. Went here around 2:40pm on 02/21/2023 and ordered a 3 piece meal. Ny chicken was so greasy that it ran like water out of my chicken thighs. I didnt care as i was hungry but i dont think chicken was cooked as since 3 to 4pm i have been sick to my stomach with vomiting and now several hours later has caused bad runs and pain when using the bathroom every 5 minutes because of their lack of care and i spent 12 dollars and so glad i didnt tip for this truly horrible food because it could seriously hurt people. Update: walked into their store just recently to discuss this matter and the manager had the balls to tell me to bring in medical paperwork to prove their food made me sick when my store manager, and my grandmother know this stores food was all i had to eat that day and yet he just commited a violation asking for paperwork i DO NOT have to show him so i will be talking to health inspectors bc all he said was he'd make sure his employees do better but he cant refund the 12 dollars i spent for food he didnt properly prepare and handle so i very much am disgusted...

Love your Tuesday tenders. Never have to worry about dinner with 2 boxes of your tenders. Unfortunately this Tuesday December 28,2021 it was a great disappointment. After a medical procedure my husband and I stopped for our usual 2 boxes of Tuesday tenders. The tender strips were so small, they looked more like finger strips. Worst still was that they were almost all batter and very little chicken. I was so disappointed, I've been one of Bushe's biggest supporters since they opened in Killen.
