The first time I went to Golden corral with a friend of mine she found a hair in her salad she doesn't speak English so I told our server and she said I'll get the manager The manager happened to be someone who speaks Spanish so they converge back and forth but in the end the manager did not believe her because she said I did not see there myself. Another time I went by myself and I found a hair in a piece of fried chicken I told my server and I showed the manager look there it is The manager said it's probably my hair but it wasn't just laying on top of the chicken it was actually in the chicken in the the breading on top of that my hair is long this hair was short and it was blonde and my hair is not blonde it is dark brown they took away the go over there and play and mess up the counter and floor so now they just have this container of some kind with chocolate in it that's not even melted most of the time it's just like a big lump another time I went to eat at this Golden corral and there was nothing there I walked around the entire buffet and they barely had anything out and this was during their busy hour when they should have had food constantly coming out when I complained about it they said ma'am we're doing the best we can do we're understaffed right now If that's the case they need to hire more people also the servers what's up with them My drink was empty a long time ago and they never stop to ask me if I wanted a refill and the server walked by me several times I finally just got up by myself and got my own refill and sometimes the plates and the silverware are dirty and if you tell the server they take it from you with an attitude unless they drastically change I don't think I'll ever eat...
Read moreI have come to this location a few times and each time hoping it gets better, but each time I am more disappointed. This time will be my last time, unfortunately. My mom and I decided to have lunch here since its been a couple months since we have been and we arrived about 10:30/10:45am, which is 30 to 45 minutes past opening and the food being offered was cold, the fried fish ( a favorite of my moms) was cold, and I asked if they would be having chicken and dumpling (another one of my mom's favorites there in the past and was usually warm) and was told its not ready yet but yes it would be put out. So we ate some, sat and talked and about 30 minutes later I went and asked what the status was and was told "oh they still all frozen in the middle and not ready yet" as they open the door to what ever they heat the trays in. I was a bit shocked because here we are an hour, an HOUR into opening and they don't have everything out and what's out is cold. I did tell the server about the food being cold and the chicken and dumplings and I was given several excuses about how the truck just literally came in as they opened. Honestly, that's not my problem and the manager or who ever does the ordering or planning needs to get their head straight, because we come in to the establishment expecting and deserving of food thats heated properly and we pay for that. Read morePerhaps it was the timing or something but I could not have had a worse experience. The bars were covered in crumbs and bits, all the food looked dry as though it had sat there for over an hour, and most of the items I did try were dried out and hard.
I hoped that maybe if I ordered a steak that it would come to about even, but the cook forgot my request twice, and on the third time he gave me what looked like a briquette if the grill. I asked for medium, and I can't tell if he was even listening.
Went to the bathroom to wash up before having dessert, it smelled as though someone had been smoking pot in one of the stalls. Not my business, but still.
The desserts at least we're decent, which is weird because our of everything to find at the buffet, the bread rolls were the best and most fresh item. A shame I could get any decent entrees to go with them.
The staff were kind and receptive to my concerns, to which I'm very grateful. Altogether I think this location needs work.
EDIT: After making this review, the immediate response from what I can only assume is an bot performing automated responses to the reviews on Google further causes me to feel that this location truly doesn't care for their customers.
