I called in at 12:24 was told 10 to 15 mins. No biggie I was leaving Walmart with cold stuff in the car waited another 10 mins in the car just to give them a good 20 mins to prepare the food. Go in and no orginaztion where to stand to take the order. One person was infront of me told me I could go next waited 10 mins and some guy walked in and the cashier said I could help who's next and he went to the register. So I asked where is the line since I was just kinda dismissed even tho she seen me there. After the man placed his order I paid for mine since the app wouldn't take not one but all three of my cards saying it doesn't support it. Which I've used before. Was told they are bagging my stuff another 10 mins go by. And all the people standing around are also getting irritated. A girl came up to the register and started saying people's name with the order. Mind you one order. The lady after me was standing there and the worker was name. With an attitude. The guy walked up and showed his phine. After him i walked up and said I was told 10 mins ago mine was getting bagged up and placed my order 40 mins ago for pick up and she interpreted me and said name... her customer service is rude she seems to be one of the shift leads or managers. I ended up getting a refund hopefully it shows soon. I would've thought the workers would have better attitudes especially the prices the customers pay. Will not go back to this location. Read moreToday's visit to Mcallister's will be our last. My sister and cousin went in for an early dinner. When we walked in we were not greeted with a hello, a smile or even an acknowledgement. When it was time to take our order the girl behind the counter was speaking so fast and low that we could hardly understand her. She was rolling her eyes, and had the audacity to look at my sister and me like we were crazy because we asked for avocado, and regular mustard on our sandwiches. She had started putting in the order to the computer before we were finished explaining what we wanted, so she had to redo it and her attitude toward us let us know we were bothering her for having to correct it. If she had just listened to us without jumping the gun, that wouldn't have even happened. I pulled the manager on duty to let her know what had transpired and she was less interested. I had already paid, so...so what right. When my cousin got to the table she stated she had asked for water, but was never given a cup. When our food came out, it was of wrong. My sister took her food back and asked them to fix it. The girl from the front came to the back just to tell us,with the worst attitude that they were going to have to remake it, like it was my sisters fault that they had messed up. If you submit a complaint, someone there will call you and do you a huge favor and explain to you how its definitely not their fault and then tell you all about how rude you are because you complained.
Placed a pre-order with GrubHub for noon. Got a confirmation from both GH and the restaurant that everything was set.
At 10 to noon, I receive a text from the driver that they had arrived to pick up the order and that it wasn't ready. Then that they didn't have it at all.
Soon after this, I receive a notification that my order was cancelled because the restaurant was closed. No option to reorder or any other explanation.
Call the restaurant and ask if they're closed, am informed no, that they are open till 10pm.
Submit a complaint online detailing my experience.
Get a phone call from a young lady at the restaurant. She tells me all about how they never got the order, never received payment from GH, declines to explain how that could happen or why I would receive a confirmation from the restaurant. She is particularly upset that I called her staff incompetent in my email complaint and repeatedly brings it up as well as calling me rude. Obviously her entire reason for calling was actually to confront me about calling her staff incompetent and not to actually assist me in any way.
