Pita De Jour — Restaurant in Killeen

Lot of people complaining about the food!?! Maybe they are disappointed because it is not their cultural gourmet food like marshmallows, snickers, cheesecakes, cheese burgers 🍔 or BBQ with Mac & Cheese. This is closest meal I had found to the Doner’s I used to eat in Germany 🇩🇪 and the sauce is delicious like the Gyros sauce I used to have while in Greece. The facility is clean, employees wear clean uniforms and have their mouths covered hence, no saliva on top the food. This was my first time trying Pita De Jour, and I can honestly say the food was very satisfying and filling. I had a pleasant conversation with the owner as my food was made, and he took time to explain the menu in detail. The amount of food for the price I paid was cool with me. I saw someone complaining about the amount of fries they received in a review. My only complaints are I was double charged because something was going on with the system, but my credit card company handled that issue, and it was extremely hot in the restaurant. The restaurant is in a sketchy area. The owners were very nice and wanted me to use hand sanitizer which I liked because it stresses cleanliness. They walked me through the menu and it was simple enough. On to the food.

The meat in my sandwich was dry, the sauce had no flavor at all. I ordered a whole pita and tossed out half of it. The fries were the best part. I skipped the salt and I'm glad I did.
