Nasty is an understatement. I wouldn’t let a stray dog walk into this place. Everything coming out of that store is contaminated, and yes, I reported it. I went to drive thru. Got to the window and exchanged payment. Window remained open. It looked sketch looking at the stained walls. I became even more concerned when the guy at drive thru went to the back with what I assumed were my 3 drinks, with his funky finger touching inside one of the cups. I’m sitting there looking at the pitcher of the drinks I ordered and the ice machine (unless it was broke). He pulled me forward without my drinks. After about 10 minutes I went inside. I could not believe the way that restaurant looked. GM on down should be ashamed. It don’t look like y’all did sht all week. An employee came to the front and I told him what I had, none confrontational, he said okay. A female with braids dmn near dragging the floor started talking at us saying she already sent food outside and repeated the order she had sent out. I told her that was not my food she repeated (something with bacon) and that I had 3 biggie bag double stacks. She then starts accosting employees and told them they need to get their sht together. She fussed at the guy coming back in, after I told her that was not our food he took out. She then starts talking at me saying “we” keep ordering all this stuff and they are doing the best they can. I’m assuming a manager finally walks up ( I was asking for a refund at that point) and says “ Okay what’s the problem,” aside from me, I guess she was blind to the tore up dining room, the frosty machine leaking on the floor, flies EVERYWHERE, window wide open with the food table right beside it, nobody has on gloves, dude didn’t scrub back on the floor after going outside… to name a few. Everyone was chaos at that point. The guy at the drive thru approaches the front and says I’m going to have to come back tomorrow for a refund because the GM is not there. To not have a manager present for refunds is crazy work. I worked fast food the first half of my life (Sonic, with over 200k drink combinations and a happy hr, and KFC, with a buffet and drive thru). I don’t care what kind crew you have, cleanliness is #1. Slow food can be remedied with good CUSTOMER SERVICE and making sure it’s FRESH. Keeping my peace and letting my bank handle it. Read moreI ordered online. When I came to pick up my food the door was locked. I knocked on the door and someone said to go to drive thru. I got in line. Then when I got to speaker the girl said I have to come inside. I then told her tried to but door was locked. She then said wait and came backache said, I could pull around. I made the mistake of leaving the line, but the person in front of me was taking a while and I was then unsure if I was suppose to go inside. I knocked a second time on the door, then encountered the same girl and i was trying to get her attention. She said it’s closed and walked away. It was after 10:30. I pulled back in line. Thankfully I was able to cut the line.
The reason I’m writing this is because of the bad communication. If they choose to close dining they Need to have everyone on board. I was not told by the two people taking my order and giving me food that the dining was closed. I was told by a person cleaning that dining was closed. I asked the lady at the window, for the future, Is dining closed and what time does dining open. She said it opens at 10:30. Even though at 10:30 it was closed. The signs on the building say 10am the girl at the window said 10:30. There were no signs on the building saying dining closed. My time is very valuable and I lost 20 minutes. If I choose to come back I will only order at Drive thru to see because i can’t guarantee that my pickup time will be correct. This was only my 2 or 3 rd time coming to this Wendy’s.
I did make known my complaint but I did not ask for management. I can only hope that it was passed along. I asked that next time the lady cleaning would come to the door and talk to me instead of walking away. I had on my scrubs and badge so I don’t think she thought I was a random off the street and she encountered me twice. Read moreI went on new years 12/31/2024 eve with my husband and daughter. after waiting more than 5 minutes to even order with no one in line, For the first time in over 20 years I ordered a classic chicken burger. After I walked away I heard the cashier say spicy chicken but didn't think it was mine. Boy was I wrong, I took a bite and thought it has a kick, had my daughter take a bite she said the same thing. So I take it back on a napkin, and the cashier looks at it weird. I ask since my burger was going to be remade if I can get a small order of hot fries? Yesenia over on the side next to the window, says pretty loudly, we aren't in the habit of giving out free food. I said still calmly, my fries will be cold. Yesenia's response was bring me your fries from the meal and you'll get new ones. I take them and she is there to grab them very rudely. I walk out to smoke but leave my husband and daughter there, she yells out **ORDER!!! ORDER!!!!! my husband's head pops up and rudely she says *YEAH YOU. He takes the bag from her as she basically throws it at him. Needless to say we went from dine in to take out. Also needless to say, I didn't eat dinner that night either.
**Side note: while I was outside smoking a few of the customers that were in there after me and 1 that goes there regularly, said that she had a lot of attitude. He also told me that in the past he's told them their issue is communication...
