Filiberto’s Mexican Food — Restaurant in Kingman

Thought I would give this Mexican restaurant a try.....First of all this is a copycat, knockoff, from the original which is still around called "Roberto's Taco Shop" which started in 1964 in San Diego,California if you want the best and original with quality and quantity then look for "Roberto's Taco Shop" Roberto's was started by Roberto and his wife Dolores they are the original. "Felibertos"Alilberto's" "Rigoberto's" any name with berto in it is not original except for: Roberto's. I ordered a asada Torta when I got it had very little asada but lots of lettuce and that was all the ingredients! I have ordered these from other Mexican restaurants and they've always been excellent this is the worst one I've ever had. I also ordered a shredded beef taco it had a very little shredded beef with some cheese, the lettuce for some reason was on the outside of the shell when I unwrapped it! My wife ordered a chorizo burrito she didn't even eat it all it was cold and had no flavor, and for some reason it was bright orange perhaps it's the chorizo they use I don't know, but one thing's for certain I...

Worst Filibertos location. Prices do not reflect quality at all. It was ok when it first opened few months ago but it didn’t last long. Food is flavorless. You either get soggy food or over cooked food. All the sauces are so watered down to save a buck they ruin your meal instead of enhance it. Guac is watered down commercial garbage out of a bag. Sour cream is so thin it’s almost sour milk. Salsa verde and salsa roja so watered down they have no flavor. Carne asada burrito is 3 times more beans that meat. Who the eff wants beans on a carne asada burrito anyhow? Even the drinks from the fountain are watered down garbage! The other new location few miles away on Beale street has little better food but the dinning room always smells like sewer gasses. It’s something wrong with the building because for 15 years the Chinese food restaurant at same location also always smelled like sewer gasses.

If you’re traveling through and want good Mexican food then hit up Roberto’s in Henderson or wait till Deer Valley road Filibertos in north Phoenix. Do not eat this...

Decided to try it since it was new in town. My wife, mother and myself all ordered taco salads we got taco soup there was so much liquid inside the shell it literally was swimming my mother rarely eats meat and had only beans hers was swimming also and we all tried to figure out why. Well needless to say after we left all three of us had stomach pains after only eating some of it (at least had to try it). When we got home my mother says I would have eaten a hamburger over that LOL (doesn't eat beef LOL) Something needs to be done there. I don't know where the ones who left positive reviews ate at I am dang sure it wasn't here. Oh and also while we were waiting for our orders two employees came back one with Culver's and the other with Panda Express (the one with Panda had also brought food back for some others in the back.) and they proceeded to eat their meal in the dining room.
