I went to this restaurant yesterday for my birthday with my husband, and was excited to go somewhere relatively fancy looking considering we are both in our early 20’s and just want to explore new things. Upon entering we were seated and waited for a server and everything was nice… Loved the music and the atmosphere wasn’t too bad. However, the staff there made it hard to enjoy our date because they yelled a lot there. My husband and I are autistic and we don’t like noise when we are trying to be together, and considering it was supposed to be a nice sit-down restaurant, we expected better. It was loud and the staff wasn’t very pleasing— they were rather rude to each other and to us. They also seemed like they didn’t know who was working and who wasn’t considering the entire time we heard the staff loudly yelling “where is ___?”, “is ___ here?”, and so on. Not to mention when I entered the girl who showed us to our seat seemed to laugh and look at me like I wasn’t dressed nice enough to be there. Now the food… My husband and I both enjoy seafood, so we decided it would be a good idea. I got my salad and my husband got his soup, and those were fine— in fact they were the only good thing we had there. (Despite the soup obviously being microwaved; obvious due to the cold inside and hot outside.) I ordered the lobster ravioli and my husband got the Salmon. It was beautiful presentation wise, but it was disgusting. The salmon was gross and super watery, and the ravioli tasted like nothing; except for the faint taste of fishy water. It was so bad I thought I was gonna get food poisoning because I proceeded to have stomach pains and intense nausea afterward. I only ate two bites of ravioli and my husband ate less than half of his salmon. I can’t believe I paid $40 for nothing. I’m making sure NOBODY I know goes there and I am never returning. I did leave a tip to our server, who seemed to be the only person there who was decent.

First time dining at Giuseppe’s. Came because we’d heard how good the prime rib was. Minnie took great care of us. Making recommendations and making sure all of our needs were attended to. The food was good. The prime rib definitely hit! Hubby said, it’s the best he’s had in this area. The quality of meat was what made it great! The raw oysters were good, wouldn’t get the oysters Rockefeller again. Didn’t care for the cheese & spinach they added. The chicken cacciatore was okay. Was a little too sweet for my liking but adding red pepper flakes helped. The wine selection is nice. The garlic bread was not good. Very dry and bland. I would like to go back and try a different dish that had a wine base instead of tomato base. Definitely on the pricier side. 2 glasses of wine, 2 big beers, 2 apps, 2 entrees = $160 with tip

WOW! Finally a true authentic Italian restaurant. The tables are dressed with white table clothes and real glassware. The Lobster bisque was so good that I had to have an extra quart to go. The seafood with linguine was amazing and the eggplant parmesan is very good. For dessert we discovered that they have real Italian teramassu. This was the first restaurant in the area with real teramassu. If your a chef or have been to Italy, you will recognize the key ingredient that all others fail to use. This made our dinning experience just like eating in Italy without the price of a plane ticket.

My mother and I went to have dinner at Giuseppe’s, we used to go years ago, and in those days it was absolutely delicious, with a lovely atmosphere, and exceptional service. We certainly did not find that this time.

When we arrived to the restaurant, the outside seemed well maintained with a very pretty entrance. However, once we got to the interior, everything was old and shabby, after being closed I don’t even think they washed the curtains, they were filthy. The old woodwork was chipped and dirty, the stucco walls were dirty, And the light fixtures were also dirty. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks Like.

We had a waitress that could have cared less if we were even there, she was distant, no refills on our Water’s, And she was borderline rude.

When we got to Food, it was good, but it certainly wasn’t anything special. I had Stuffed shells, and the presentation was lacking as was the flavor. My mother had pizza, she said that it was acceptable, but she only ate half of one piece. I ate one shell, everything else was left. That should tell you something about the food.

Upon leaving We had said that had anyone of the three major factors, atmosphere, service, or food had been exceptional it could have been a Great experience just for memories sake. None of the three were acceptable. We won’t...

I wish that Google would allow for a better star rating system because I would give them 4.5 stars. The owners of Giuseppe's are the same owners Raffaele's in colonial heights and the pizza /Italian restaurant in the Ft Henry Mall I forget the name. They are direct from Italy. My wife and I have gone there several times and have never been disappointed. Our 1st time there my wife ordered a small pizza which was great and I Asked them if they could make me chicken riggies which is a dish from Central New York. The owner was more than happy to make us this dish which was not on the menu. We have gone back several more times. Only once was there a hiccup I was served a rancid piece of veal. The waiter took it back and took it off of our check Even though I did not ask him to do so. Further he was very apologetic and tried making it up to us by giving us some free Tiramisu which tasted excellent. We will go back again because The entire staff are professional friendly and courteous starting from the hostesses to the Wait staff cooks and owners. Further they have quality Italian food which in northeast Tennessee is hard to come by. If you are in the mood for Italian food this is the...
