Lady Yum - Totem Lake — Restaurant in Kirkland

The Lady Yum location at Totem Lake has finally officially opened! I went today (7/28) and there was a special - $2 macarons. That is such a crazy good opening deal because macarons can be pricy, but oh so good.

We definitely took advantage of the good deal and got some macarons. Most of them were the standard flavors but we tried getting the July/seasonal flavors as well.

We got the following flavors: Peach Prosecco, Vanilla, Strawberry, Salted Caramel (x2), Raspberry Chardonnay, Pog, Lemon, Espresso Fudge, Toasted Coconut.

All of them were so delicious! The service was also excellent for such a busy atmosphere (they had music blasting and events such as custom hat making for the opening).

Really great experience. If you want to go to a Lady Yum location in Kirkland, I'd recommend the Totem Lake one because there's ample parking (two parking garages, street parking, parking lot for nearby businesses). There are also a lot of other great places in this area to visit while...

It's pretty widely known that Lady Yum makes the best macarons, both in texture and flavors. Their monthly new creations keep you going in to try fun combos that is available nowhere else.

Their latest location in Totem Lake is situated amongst the best selection of stores: Lululemon, Ulta, Sephora, Joe's burger, Salt n Straw, bok b bok, Serious Pie... I could go on... But don't skip on a stop at this Lady Yum location because they serve things that aren't in any of the other stores. The entremets are works of art, and if they aren't so tasty i would just keep them around for the looks. I got the raspberry and hazelnut. They have a mousse cake topped on a cookie base, with jelly / ganache filling and a soft and gorgeous mirror glaze. If you had dinner at one of the nearby restaurants, this is the perfect dessert to end...

We stopped by a few days ago since we had the idea to have an intimate gender reveal between my husband, my toddler, and I. Kenzie was working there and we told her the plan and showed her the gender on our phone. She wasn't just excitedly on board with it but she really understood the assignment. We stepped out for 5 mins and came back as she finished doing such an amazing job at packing it so beautifully and making sure we only found out when we were ready to open the box of macarons with the hidden gender color. Kenzie was so sweet and brought tears to our eyes. I can safely say that I'll keep going back to this spot after what she did for us. GIVE THAT GIRL A RAISE!
