I would normally give MOD a good review, and I would go pretty much every week to order a pizza. Last night however my experience was horrible. I’ve never had to wait so long for a pizza in my life. I don’t blame the employees who were at the store as much as I blame whoever is in charge of the online system.
I was informed that my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes for curbside pickup. When I arrived right on time, I was told it would take about 45 more minutes for my pizza to be ready, and was offered to get my order canceled and to go to a different MOD Pizza location instead, even though I had already taken the time to order and to get there with my crying 8 months old and hungry 4 year old daughters in the back of the car (which is the reason why I always do curbside pickups).
I told them how inconvenient it was for me to cancel my order and go to a different location at that point, so I asked if they could make things better by giving me a discount. They offered to give me a 20% discount and to have my pizza ready in 15 more minutes. I agreed to do that and told my wife, who was at work, about it. When I was close to arrive 15 minutes later, my wife told me that she had called them and they let her know that someone had apparently canceled my order, so I had to return in 20 minutes and that this time my pizza would be free.
I arrived the third time, expecting that everything would be OK now. Instead what I heard was the same thing I was told at the beginning. At that point I lost it, and requested to speak to a manager. I got the same manager who offered my wife the free pizza in 20 minutes. He apologized and explained that they had an unprecedented amount of customers, which I could see that there were a lot of people in there.
I however don’t understand how the online system would still offer my pizza to be ready in 15 minutes when they were experiencing such delays at the store. If I knew from the beginning, I would have avoided such a bad experience and still be able to recommend this MOD Pizza location. After last night, I don’t think I’ll be inclined to recommend this...

Read moreWe had a very bad experience with our order today. We precisely ordered 2 kids meal with milk and chocolate milk respectively. We also ordered a Mega cookie along with 4 cheese powder and 4 chili flakes packet. I also specifically called and informed the totemlake branch at kirkland that I am running sick right now and the husband will pick up the order. so if they could please let him pick up a cheesy garlic bread for one of rewards. The guy agreed over the phone and took my phone no to verify my reward but he charged my husband anyway extra for the bread. Now on top of this they forgot the mega cookie, both the milk boxes for the kids and also the chili flakes and cheese powder. And on top of this the pepperoni pizza came burnt and this is not the first time we have been served burnt pizza. When i called and requested to talk to a manager. She instead of sympathizing with a sick customer, told me on the phone that it is not the store responsibility to figure out the correct order but the person who is picking up the order. I have 2 sick kids and me sick and due to the missing order our 5 year old cried the whole evening and of course i am super upset and disappointed too. Does customer service even exist in the totem lake brand. This is so not done and i wish to reach the correct department and person with my...
