I wanted to like this place, I really did, but I would prefer if I could just give them my address so they could just punch me directly in the face rather than having to deal with the atrocious service and bad functionality i was put through. because I can say with no doubt that this place is the worst Restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of going to. I was excited to have a new cool burger place, but my experiences at stack 571 have made me say: save your money and go to joe’s burger shack. Let me tell you about my experience: first time we went to stack 571, we set aside one and a half hours to have lunch. ample time to order, eat, and pay, and yet they had one server doing everything on a relatively busy Tuesday - and that is a shortcoming on the business, not the server. it took 15 minutes at least after we had finished eating for the server to come by, and when she did, she didn’t ask us how we were paying, instead just asking us all to give her our cards so she could split it. One of my party had originally intended to pay with cash. This debacle ended in one of my party paying $40 for fries and a drink, as well as all of us being late to work. I called the manager to express my frustration, and he offered to send us a gift card so we could come a different time and have a different experience that wasn’t so poor. When the gift card arrived, a note said it had $40 on it.
honestly, in retrospect, I wish I had turned the gift card down and never gone back, because what happened the second time we went there I really could’ve done without. we opted to order and pay at the same time to avoid any wait like last time, only to find out that the gift card only had $10 on it. to be honest I felt tricked and lied to. not a great thing to experience during your do over. then, once that was fixed, because we had photo proof it was supposed to be $40, out comes our food, and two of our burgers were wrong. We sent back one that was not made correctly and didn’t discover that the other had been undercooked until it was too late to reorder. And then, to top it all off, the burger that we did send back came back wrong AGAIN. Two people in my party did not get to eat dinner before our movie and had to go hungry because stack 571 can not to the most basic tasks a restaurant requires: having good, prompt, accurate service, and providing the food the customers ask for. and for this restaurant, it seems not to only be difficult, but completely impossible. Suffice to say, my party and I will not be going back to this hell Dimension that calls itself a restaurant, and I’d recommend you...
Read moreI've been to the bothell location several times and it was excellent. This was my first time to the Kirkland location and I will likely not be back.
The restaurant was busy but also looked dirty. There were several tables that needed to be cleaned. We were sat right away at a table and then forgotten about for over 25 minutes, not an exaggeration at all. The tables on either side of us that were seated after us were waited on before us. After my husband spent several minutes trying to make eye contact with any staff member, a waitress finally came over and didn't really apologize for the wait. She took our order than left. We ordered the chicken sandwich with onion rings to share.
The waiter serving the table next to us was very attentive to them and as a result kept trying to squish himself between our two tables which resulted in his butt in our faces multiple times. Not what we were hoping for during lunch or really any restaurant experience! When our order came the sandwich was nicely cut in half and 2 onion rings stacked on top of eachother sat on either side of the plate. Very underwhelming and disappointing since again, we've been to the bothell location previously and ordered the same dish and the portion was much better.
Shortly after we finished eating our food the waitress hurried over to clear the table and gave us a the check. Overall it was not a good experience, my husband and I both felt unwelcome in the restaurant and that our order didn't matter since it wasn't larger or contained alcohol which a lot of restaurants make their bones in. We frequently visit the shopping center in Kirkland but won't be returning to this restaurant. The 🌟 rating is for the food only, the service...
Read moreSo, keep in mind I have an allergy so going to a whiskey bar is a dangerous activity. Here's what happened to us this last try. I am allergic to wheat. I am very careful to choose my drinks to avoid the grain completely. I ordered a martini made with crater lake vodka which is safe for me. The server used the well vodka instead of the premium vodka called for on the menu. I'm not sure why and it's not my place to ask. I double checked it when she sat it down. She paused and then when I said I'm checking because I have an allergy she scooped it up and remade it. That was disappointing. The othet server was very helpful with helping us find gluten free options. Guys if you have celiac THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. After checking there wasn't an Appetizer that was gluten free but they could make their burger gluten free with a gluten free bun. I was sick within thirty minutes my husband is sensitive and was complaining of swollen joints shortly after we left. We were "glutenized" even though the staff was aware of our allergies and tried to order and cook accordingly. This was our third or fourth time at this restaurant. Our first time was great, they had 3 appetizers we could have and we didn't get sick. The second time there wasn't many options but the staff is nice and attentive and they have good drinks but the last time just sucked. I hate getting sick especially when effort was made by everyone involved. I doubt we will be back. They need some options that haven't been breaded or...
