Owner is a total jerk! A nice shy quiet young lady, rang me up for the promo on their door 🚪 3 snack Tacos 🌮 on Tuesday for $1.99, I asked to get 6 total & she quoted me $14+ dollars & I politely said um, that doesn't sound right. So,I asked her to just cancel it, so I could be sure I understood the promo on the door {maybe I'd read it wrong I 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️} I did so nicely, with no attitude at all. I didn't raise my voice or get upset or cause any scene}, I went back 🔙 & read it on door 🚪 Then I approached the counter again & a heavyset bearded man offered to ring me up. I merely questioned the promo. I asked is it 3 for $1.99 or are they $1.99 each? {not a deal breaker, I typically spend much more & considered this a favorite location, I had eaten already & was on a snack budget this day} & the guy {turns out to be the rude owner says verbatim " We don't need to have all this conversation about it, do we?! Very rudely, insulting me {oh, I'm thinking 🤔 Am I not spending enough? So I don't deserve respect!?} I said; Pardon me, I'm just questioning the amount, that's all. Then he said; I was being rude to the girl ringing it up. I beg to differ; I didn't say anything negative about her personally. I politely asked her to cancel & avoided any negativity, honestly. It rang up to $10 more so I just asked her to delete the order & I asked what the deal on the door meant, Tuesday is 3 snack tacos for $1.99. I wasn't being rude at all, questioning an order total in a calm manner, is not being rude. He puts a terrible image on a Del Taco franchise that is making a comeback he's a horrible representative for that!

I plan to contact the Del Taco Franchise Headquarters to file a complaint. Then make a Better Business Bureau report & Rip Off Report & call the news agencies, post this to social media & call the chamber of commerce. He was completely out of line! A hypocrite, cause I was polite, he was the rude one! 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Just because a customer questions a transaction or asks about a promo,etc DOES NOT automatically make them rude, sir! You're projection of rudeness is your problem & you need to point to the "boy" 👉 in the mirror 🪞 cause you're not a better man, just cause you own a Del Taco..Grow Up & Show some respect to a Veteran at that. Over the last couple years visiting this very location often, I was So happy & excited to see Del Taco making a comeback because I always preferred Del Taco to Taco Bell back in the 90s. And whenever I'm in the Orlando area I visit this del Taco and I often spend a lot more but that shouldn't matter I shouldn't be treated any differently just because he thinks I'm cheap or whatever he thought he assumed he was prejudiced and he was a rude...
