I visited Last Granja Restaurant (hwy 92 in Kissimmee FL.) on Easter Sun. 2019 first thing first, there was plenty of parking, that's a plus! Upon entering I could only get about 2 steps in the front door because the place was packed! The line was practically out the door, but, nobody was leaving! Could the service and food be THAT good? The atmosphere was lively, many families enjoying dinner and conversation. There are helpful colorful pictures of menu items mounted around the interior of the restaurant to help you decide what you want to order BEFORE you actually get to the ordering station (smart idea!) Many restaurants should adopt this idea so people don't feel stupid when they get to the register, squinting to see the fine print menu on the wall. You could see the workers busy cooking meals in the background which, in my opinion, adds to the excitement of eating out. I ordered the "Seafood Fried Rice" with a side of fries. The portion sizes here are generous and my food was fantastic! There are items on the menu/ walls (LOL!) for everyone, burgers, chicken, rice & beans and all your favorite Spanish favorites. The only downsides I noticed here was the girl who took our order at the register (you order your own food) she had a little attitude maybe because it WAS extremely busy and I don't speak Spanish but STILL, I'm a paying customer, contributing to YOUR paycheck, give me a damn smile and don't screw my order up please! IMO, it doesn't matter if you THINK you're cute, if you're in DIRECT CONTACT with customers in a restaurant and all you can do is dish out ignorance with no personality, give up your register and walk your little sassy @$$ in the back and help flip some chickens or make some fries! She got my wife's order wrong, however, one of the other ladies (mgr. maybe) quickly fixed the problem and had the workers put together the right order within seconds! You have to listen for your order number to be called, this was a little difficult due to the faulty microphone and low volume. Despite "lil Miss attitude", and having to use my "bionic ear" the food was fantastic and I would actually go back! The food actually outshined the negatives here! Now if you enjoy eating and have a little tummy down there (like me) you may not want to sit in one of the small booths which tends to keep your swallowed food from dropping into it's intended destination! 😜 The restaurant conveniently has pull out chairs as well for us tummy challenged folk! I could easily see La Granja being my favorite Spanish restaurant. If you found this post helpful in your decision, please click the little "thumbs up" at the bottom. to get hundreds of post views and only 2-3 likes, c'mon! only takes a second to smash that thumbs up, and it's FREE,...

La Granja is a Peruvian restaurant located in Kissimmee Florida. They have a few other locations scattered around Florida. The food quality was rather subpar. I ordered #3 on the menu which consists of ½ a rotisserie chicken with rice, plantain, and black beans on the side. My husband ordered #4 which is ½ pound of grilled steak with same sides of rice, plantain, and beans. My chicken came in two pieces: the breast and drumstick. The breast which happens to be the biggest piece was a really dry and tough. It was unbearable to eat. I was only able to eat the drumstick. The only thing that made the drumstick somewhat tolerable to eat was by dipping it in the variety of sauces they have. My husband’s steak facing upwards looks ok, but when he flipped the meat, we were surprised to see that it was burnt to crisp underneath. I guess that’s why the cook put that particular side of the meat facing upwards.

The table we occupied was not completely clean. There were visible traces of food stain in our table. Additionally, there was a pile of dirty plates in a plastic bin against the wall. It was there for the majority of time while we were dining, until one of the staff decided to roll the cart into the kitchen. Oh well, I guess you can say there’s a first time for everything. Needless to say we won’t be coming back anytime soon. Not...

Update: Ordered a combo that includes a fountain drink. Their soda machine was out of gas, and once I asked them to get a canned soda from the fridge, the attendant grabbed a cup to try the fountain drink and tried telling me it was good, and that I couldn’t grab a soda from the fridge. If they can’t provide their customers with a soda can to make their experience better, I don’t want to give them my business anymore. Updating my review to 2 stars because the food still tasted great, but their customer service is non-existent. Old review: Honestly fair price for the amazing food they’re serving! They have an immense menu ranging from burgers to seafood, soups, steak, and chicken and the portion sizes are sure to fill you up! Their fried yuca is just what it should be. Also have a wide variety of sauces to try from! True latin cuisine
