We really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately our experience fell short. Overall, we’d rate it a 4.7 out of 10.
First, the service was very slow. It took quite a while for the food to come out, and at the end, we were left waiting again just to get the check. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, juggling too many tables at once. After paying, we were left holding the card machine unsure of what to do because she had walked away again.
Another big issue was the music—it was blasting so loud we could barely hear each other talk. It made the whole experience a bit uncomfortable.
As for the food, it was a mix. My pollo frito was solid, and the rice and beans were flavorful. But my girlfriend’s chuleta was way too greasy and not enjoyable for her.

Read moreIt took over an hour before we got service but not before having to stop one of the servers to ask for beers then again had to flag another server to be able to order the food since the 1rst one never came back. Before 5pm they had ran out of morsillas, chicharrón de cerdo and pernil asado, the main reason why we went to a Puertorican Restaurant! The mofongo was cold, the carne fritas was ok- little small serving size. A 3rd server brought us more beers on a bucket, but had already opened every single one of them since "they didn't have an opener"... even the ones that are hand open type. If you want to have some kind of conversation, don't seat inside as the music is sooo loud that you can't hear each other. Maybe I'm expecting too much. After all I'm Puertorican myself. VERY...
