Sushi Misono — Restaurant in Kissimmee

I had hopes for this place after seeing Yami Kitchen, a buffet with a short time limit with the gimmick of cooking your own food with a steep $35 price tag, shut down. But its much the same. Same owners, different food. I ordered the all you can eat lunch, which came out to $20 (Dinner is, you guessed it, $35). The food I had wasn't bad, but it wasn't any better than I have gotten from a grocery deli that offloads premade maki rolls off a truck. Most of the food is made to order, which makes that comparison hurt even more. The 90 minute timer is just added insult and stress. Typically I don't mind when a place has a time limit for seating, but when you spend nearly a third of that time waiting, it gets egregious. Between that and the signage at every table, I don't think I will be going back. If anything, Sushi Misono makes me miss when Cicis was in this block. My boyfriend and I came here a day after they officially opened and were pleasantly delighted!! We really liked the ambiance and look of a traditional sushi restaurant, the music was very charming. Staff is excellent and welcoming and made us feel very attended throughout. We had the AYCE sushi for dinner. We enjoyed the miso soup to begin. My favorites rolls were the Naruto Rainbow for how refreshing it was wrapped in cucumber, Crunchy and #9. Flavor profiles were great! We loved the Mexican with mango inside, and he really enjoyed the Special appetizer, Spicy Kiss which was a jalapeño popper style dish with salmon and cream cheese. My husband and I came here for lunch after reading all the amazing Google reviews, and it was even better than we expected! Lunch hour is just $20 per person, and for everything you get, that price is unbeatable.

From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with the warmest smile and guided us to our table.
