First impression walking in was not inviting. I was not greeted and the staff had their backs turned to the door. The floor and tables were dirty. Why have a register if I am being made to order at the kiosk? The kiosk menu is very hard to understand. And I was made to leave a tip? A tip for who, I was not even helped. We should not be required to leave a tip. Upon receiving my order of chips and guac, side of queso, and the chicken tacos, my daughter and I had hair in our food. Brought it up to the staff at the counter, and not one apology. No manager came out to speak to us. All that was done, was calling all the staff over to discuss a complaint to which I was looked at afterwards. The chicken tacos were bland, very greasy corn tortilla, and the chips were way under cooked. The guac tasted like mashed avocado mixed with water, topped with tomatoes and called guacamole. Not a very good impression for just starting and definitely not for the price point. We...
Read moreGreat vibes and place to be at! Definitely a more modern/American friendly take on Mexican food, so don’t go in thinking you’re getting an authentic experience. That said, it was awesome choices and good food. My partner got the birria quesadillas which he loved and as a vegetarian I got the kids (cheese) quesadilla (there are other vegan/vegetarian options tho so loved to see that). We also ended up getting the horchata, elote, and chips con pico de gallo. For $56 (including a 15% tip) we were happy. Service was fantastic! Food came out in under five minutes and despite it being a fast paced environment with no dedicated servers (you even order on an iPad and it’s a seat yourself style), all the employees were super attentive and helpful. We also noticed several families with kids so it seems to be a great option for most people! Would come...
Read moreThe one star is because the place is cute and there was one gentleman who came to ask us if we were missing anything or needed something. Other than that, they didn’t have the item that was advertised all over their store, the girl at the register was very unfriendly, and the food was very disappointing. I’ve had authentic Mexican food in Mexico and I’ve had Americanized Mexican food but the tacos from here were truly unique- I’ve never had such a dry taco that even dipping it in the consomé, the meat still managed to feel dry. And it was completely flavorless save for the overwhelming taste of onions. The entire time we just kept commenting that we would’ve been so much happier with Taco Bell items. In the end, we spent a lot more and were still hungry and unsatisfied. Hopefully it was just a bad night and their other...
