I went to their location at the Millenia Mall and I loved it, so I was looking forward to come to the location at the Loop. But the experience was not enjoyable at all! We ordered some cheese and chicken empanadas and they were horrible! They were soggy, oily, and soft instead of dry and crispy. The chicken was shredded in supper large pieces and the cheese was like a huge piece of cheese stuffed inside the empanadas... instead of shredded so it would melt when you fried it... horrible... we threw them away almost entirely. I went with my mom, who is very old (95) and has difficulties holding large glasses or cans, so I asked for a cup (a cartoon one, one of those used for coffee) and the answer was "we do not have cups to give away for free"... like I were walking outside and entered to ask for a cup! Crazy! I am a customer, I entered the store and bought food! Instead, I was given a TINY cup which barely held 3 sips of coke. Anyway, no more Fortuna for us! I am giving 2 stars to acknowledge the very friendly girls that helped me inside the store (except the cashier who was the one who told me she could not give me a cup for free)....
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing customer service experience at this bakery. I came in to purchase two beef empanadas and specifically requested that they be fresh. The employee assured me they were fresh, but when I received them, they were cold and clearly not fresh. I tried addressing the issue with another staff member, as the first employee charged my card and then disappeared. I explained the situation and asked for fresh empanadas. Instead of resolving the issue politely, the second staff member rudely insisted they were fresh and informed me that the ones that had just come out were reserved for someone else’s catering order. When I offered to wait for a fresh batch, she dismissively suggested I microwave the ones I had if I thought they were old. I was shocked by the lack of courtesy and professionalism. This was my first and last time visiting this bakery. I typically go to Rico Pan on 192, but since I was farther away, I decided to give this bakery a chance. I won’t make that mistake again. Very...
Read moreSlow and unwelcoming customer service by the attendant which I believe her name is esefany. Food was close to cold. I understand if you don’t necessarily want to be there, but the whole point of customer service is attending to the customer by means of asking questions and exceeding expectations. At the same time, people can have a bad day and cause them to be rude whether they are a customer or not. For example, that’s similar to someone walking into a place of business more than once and each time they do they are talking on the phone for over 30 min while the customer service agent is trying to help, but all that person does is talk on the phone. Then said customer accuses the agent for not helping them. If the roles were reversed, the customer would probably not like it since they are not being tended to. In other words, it’s best to be respectful and truly understand the other person’s perspective before making outlandish...
