Today I came to Michaels on Christmas Eve to look for a poster board for a jersey. I understand That retail workers are under a lot of stress during this season and itās also Christmas Eve so they just want to go home. However, if youāre going to do absolutely nothing then just go home. I asked the register, lady (Which was wearing a Disney 50th celebration sweater) That although they show there is something in stock online, you donāt have it in the right color on the shelf. And she told me that if itās not on the shelf, then itās not there⦠and I know exactly what that means, so I asked somebody else named Luis. He was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to try and find what I needed. I know that itās just a retail store and itās not that serious. But if youāre not even going to try and youāre going to look depressed, then just go home or find another job lol. Luis tells me that we can price match whatās online versus what Is at the store. So I go to the register and I tell her that Luis told me that we can price match⦠And she told me no, and that we cannot do that. She doesnāt tell me thereās a coupon online⦠Which didnāt even work at the self check out. Then I ask her that I will just order it online and pick it up and she says thatās fine, however, when I order an online, it says that it is out of stock⦠Which I tell her, and she said that thereās nothing we can do because thereās not that many left so it wonāt let you purchase online. Which at this point Iām understanding that she just doesnāt want to work. So I asked for her manager and another associate comes up and helps me in less than 30 seconds, price, matches my item and I leave. I wasnāt able to get her name, but I really appreciate the associates that went above and beyond...

This Michaels location is officially my happy place, thanks to Laura! My visit was nothing short of amazing, and she made it phenomenal. Her customer service skills are next levelāsheās personable, friendly, and so patient.
On my first visit, Laura went above and beyond by helping me carry my brand-new Christmas tree to my car. The whole time, we were chatting away like old friends catching up. Never once did I feel rushed or uncomfortableāshe made the experience feel so warm and welcoming.
And hereās the kicker: while she was helping me, someone rudely shoved their item and receipt in her face. Without missing a beat, Laura calmly told them they were good and went right back to helping me. If thatās not Jedi-level customer service, I donāt know what is!
My 7-year-old daughter adored Laura so much during that visit that when we went back today, she insisted we stop just to say hi. If your kid wants to be friends with a craft store associate, you know theyāre doing something right.
If Michaels gave out Employee of the Year awards, Laura deserves one, a raise, and maybe even a sparkly tiara to wear while she works. Thank you, Laura, for making Christmas tree shopping feel magical (and for giving my daughter a new hero)!

I went in with the intention of painting a mask and was fortunate to be assisted by one of the associates, Michael, who was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. He guided us through selecting the right primer and offered helpful tips for painting, which made the entire process much more approachable and enjoyable. When in doubt, David call another associate to help with the guidance.
At checkout, Marisel provided equally excellent service. She was friendly, efficient, and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving the store. Both associates went above and beyond in making our experience a positive one.
