The Pointe — Restaurant in Kissimmee

Do yourself a favor - save yourself some money and eat elsewhere for breakfast.

My wife and I stayed at the Delta by Marriott hotel in January 2024 and as part of their fees, you get a $25 voucher good for use on property. We decided to try the breakfast at The Pointe on Sunday morning and we're pretty disappointed.

The Pro: conveniently located on property

The Cons: food is decent but not good - imagine the same stuff you get at many other hotels or cafeterias or school lunchrooms the price is $19.95 per person there is an 18% service charge. For what, I'm not sure. Our server brought us 2 waters and 1 Mimosa. It is a buffet and we got up to get our own food and other drinks at the buffet. So you pay an extra $3.59 no matter what.

All in all, our money would have been better spent elsewhere, but the 2 $25 vouchers enticed us. If you have the vouchers, you may want to use them there. If not, you'll want to go somewhere off property to eat a...

For me my husband and less than two year old we spent about 55 dollars for breakfast which for one is very expensive. The idea of the breakfast buffet was nice but the food was not good at all I would have rather went to Waffle House if that gives you any idea of how bad it was. The service was fine but we were expected to tip even though the only thing our server did for us was pour coffee once and ask how the food was.
