As much as I love eating at Wendy’s, I hate stopping at this Wendy’s. Out of dozens of times eating here, I’ve only once received my order completely correct from this particular Wendy’s. Do NOT leave the drive-thru window without fully checking your order! On my most recent visit to this particular restaurant I also brought a friend who purchased a Bacon Double Stack but the burger came without bacon... even though it says “bacon” in the name. I also had purchased a crispy chicken sandwich which normally comes with lettuce, but they didn’t put any lettuce on my sandwich. The time before that I ordered a southwest avocado chicken salad and they handed me a taco salad, clearly not what I ordered ...but who reads orders here, right? I’m constantly missing things and they are regularly out of product, but never put it out of product online so if you mobile order it and get there they likely don’t have the food that you placed an order for... and this obviously stems all the way down to poor management. I’ve walked into the restaurant to talk to the manager before about missing and incorrect orders, and they redirect an employee to talk to me instead. Nobody cares about their job or your safety (they have terrible cleaning and hand washing procedures at this restaurant) so I would try to avoid this particular Wendy’s if you’re looking for a good experience. The one over by Disney Springs/535 area is probably the best Wendy’s around! Although they’re super busy at that restaurant, I’ve actually never had a problem over there with any...
Read moreI would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank Carlos Rivera and the incredible staff at the Wendy’s located on Landstar Road in Orlando, Florida. The dining area and restroom is always clean. Every Friday, I have what I like to call a special “Fri-Date” with my grandson, affectionately known as Baby Lu. He is a very picky eater, but one thing he absolutely loves is the small vanilla ice cream from Wendy’s. Although he’s just two years old and doesn’t speak much yet, he now gets excited and says, “Mama Wendy’s – Calo,” which, in his own sweet way, means, “Take me to Wendy’s to get ice cream and see Carlos and his staff.”
The Wendy’s team has come to know and welcome him so warmly. During the holidays, we even brought in donuts as a small token of appreciation. One memorable day, Carlos surprised us by giving Baby Lu a special ice cream card. That kind gesture turned our visits into a weekly tradition filled with joy and smiles.
Carlos and his team consistently go above and beyond. The care, attention, and joy they bring to customers, especially to little ones like my grandson, truly deserves recognition.
These special outings with Baby Lu are precious to me. He is growing so quickly, and it means everything to have these memories filled with happiness, laughter, and a beloved ice cream treat.
Thank you, Wendy’s #1171, and a heartfelt thank you to Carlos Rivera and the entire staff at the Landstar Road location. You have made a meaningful impact in our lives, and we are so grateful. Warm...
Read moreWent to the drive through today between (2-5pm) and had a bad experience. I'm at the speaker and first I'm waiting a while for someone to come. The girl finally does. She had an attitude the entire time I was giving her my order. I tell her I want a burger (don't remember the name). She enters it as a meal without asking if It was just the burger or not(I said to myself whatever and to just get the meal). Then she asks what I want to drink. I said I'll get the Tropicana "something" drink. She puts it in. I see a .50 cent up charge on the monitor. So I ask is there an upcharge? And for the second time I'm saying "Hello?" Repeatedly trying to get her attention. Finally she comes back and after I repeated the question again she says yes there is. I tell her that she didn't tell me that. There's another pause then I'm hearing her laughing/talking with someone else there and I hear something like "This guy" come through the speakers. So I say "I don't know why I'm hearing laughter but theres nothing funny about this. I'm trying to get my food.." To which she responds with saying "Yes and I'm trying to take your order." And when she said that.. after being unproffesional and inattentive and having an attitude the entire time I just drove off. I'm not returning to this location if she's the example for how Wendy's customer service is supposed to look like. I don't know her name because I drove off. But If I did I would have reported her because I was so overwhelmed with her horrible customer service I...
