went to stop in your restaurant yesterday around 1:10ish, and all I wanted was some funnel cake sticks. While I was in there, the manager ( if that's what you would call a manager now a days ) yelling and just screaming at one of his employees. The women he was yelling at was a thinner, blonde lady and she looked so upset and distraught. She seemed very uncomfortable and embarrassed, he was doing it in front of the whole store. On top of that he ignored me as a customer. Even after I sad a little louder I would just like funnel cake sticks, truthfully I hoped that it would draw his attention to me and stop yelling at his employee. All I really heard was him yelling get out of my store. Now me and my family and friends have come here for years and I will so over the past two months or so we have seem this on more then on occasion. We have the store the benefit of the doubt, everyone does have a bad day. But after what I witnessed yesterday I think I'm over giving Captain D's a chance, and I'll start looking for a new seafood place for my family and friends. Because no way any manager let alone a man that preaches about God and portrays that he's aan of honor should ever talk to an employee like that let alone another human. I'm truly discussed bye what I witnessed and will be letting others know about how the management treats there employees. If that's how they treat them in front of people I could only imagine what he acts like behind closed doors. I hope you look into this and right the wrong that Captain D's did as hiring him or promoting this man, because he isn't the face you want of your company I would hope. Thanks for taking time out of your day to get a customers point of view of this store. It was the store on Ceder Bluff Knoxville tn. Around 1:10ish in the afternoon on July 5th,2023. Manager yelling: tail, slender African American man ( Dean). Employee being yelling at: tall, slender, white women, blonde hair, and big smile typically. ...
Read moreThis particular location is spectacular, their 4 piece fish platter with two sides for $10.00 & change is tremendous value (twice the amount of fish than at other local restaurants, with sides for about $5.00-$7.00 less).
But the five star review is entirely based on the exceptional service I always receive when visiting: friendly and corteous, they bring my meal to the table, and always come back to check on me, make sure everything is all right. I always go at evening, before closing, so this may not be possible all the time. But after a long shift, these fellows are tired, and going the extra mile is that much more impressive.
Bossman, give your crew a raise! You are lucky to have them.
If you are craving a nice fish meal, and dont want to pay $30.00 plus a serving at RedLobster, (😂 Sorry RL, but your prices are crazy!) let me suggest this locale. Food is great. Fast. And the crew is taking good care...
Read moreThe entrance & exit doors placement is awkward. The floors were slick as if oil had been added to the water when mopping. The young girl at the register looked extremely bored & didn't have much patience with my 82 year old mother who asked a question pertaining to a food item. She wasn't holding anyone up. The young girl shouldn't be taking food orders with her lack of personality. One of the bathrooms was closed off from the public. The door didn't close well on the other bathroom unless it was locked. That was disturbing. My shrimp dinner was okay. The shrimp were very small. My baked potato & corn on the cob were okay. My mother's two piece fish meal didn't look appetizing to me at all. Mom ate it because she was hungry. The hushpuppies were mediocre at best. They were out of regular Pepsi. My Dr. Pepper tasted fine. The dining area was almost empty. I won't...
