We ordered a superhero-themed cake hoping it would be a hit at our party, but it didn’t turn out as expected. The details that make each superhero unique were off – Batman was too dark, Hulk looked like he was placed on a flower instead of smashing through, and both Ant-Man and Iron Man’s designs didn’t match what we asked for. Especially disappointing was how they messed up the custom belts, which are key to each superhero's look, making them hardly recognizable. What made things even worse was that the superhero cake fell apart within 1 hour of pickup!!( We order another custom pj mask cake with the superhero cake for the same day,but that cake did not collapse)

So, we sent them a detailed email explaining our disappointment. But here’s the real kicker: it’s been two weeks, and we’ve heard nothing back. Not a word. This silence feels really rude and shows they don’t seem to care much about their customers once the cake is out the door!!! It’s really a shame. We weren’t looking for much, just some recognition of the mistakes and maybe an apology. Now, we feel compelled to share our experience to let others know what might happen. If you’re looking for a bakery that pays attention to what you want and stands by their work, this might not be the place.

Future customers should take this into account: a bakery that not only misses the mark on custom orders but also refuses to acknowledge or address their...

Stay away....and please read. Save you $ and go to Alpine Cakery instead

UPDATE: 12/28/2022 After my review below and reaching out to the email address provided i STILL did not hear from them. Since then i have found a FANTASTIC little bakery called Alpine Cakery that blew this place out of the water. For one, the art on the cake was wayyyyyy better and the cake from Alpine Cakery did not have 4 inches of frosting like the Walmart quality cake from Marble City

Because there was no response from the owners after i reached out I'm reducing the rating from 3 stars to 1.

GREAT CUPCAKES!.... unfortunately that's where it ends for them. Because we love their cupcakes so much my wife has decided to order a custom cake for my daughter's birthday. The price of the cake was $$$. Our expectations were pretty high based on the photos online and the tasty cupcakes. We got the cake.....the presentation was Walmart grade at best. A TON of frosting (so much that i could barely stomach a small piece of it) not much cake. Cake tasted dry (unlike their cupcakes). The cakes online and on their FB page look WAY better than what we got. Disappointed is...

We started working with Lisa in 2020 on our wedding cake before our COVID reschedule - since we were located out of state, she created and mailed us a tasting box of the flavors we wanted to try which was her first time doing it and it worked out great and goodness was it hard to choose flavors! She worked with us through our COVID reschedule and adapted easily with us when we had to sadly cut our cake back a tier due to our 2021 count not being what we had initially anticipated. I unfortunately did not get to meet her on our wedding day as I was getting ready when she delivered the cake but it was exactly what we wanted and goodness was it delicious! We had a layer that was lemon cake with blackberry filling and strawberry champagne cake with fresh strawberries and Swiss meringue buttercream filling... It was so good I had a slice with coffee the next morning for breakfast! All of our guests...
