Can't say I was that impressed with service my second visit here (2/1/25 @8:57), I was pleasantly impressed by the breakfast biscuits, but on this re-try I found myself far less than thrilled.
First red flag arose out of a bit of ignorance, I had brought my pup with me after a visit to the vet and wanting to reward him for good behavior after a shot, I had asked if they offered pup cups. The response that they didn't offer pup cups was a tad snarky, but I brushed it off since that was my bad for not knowing better.
Unperturbed I followed up by asking if they offered vanilla ice cream and if I could get some in a cup (not concerned with whatever they'd charge me), where she bluntly said "no".
A bit surprised and second guessing myself somewhat, I asked," do you guys offer vanilla ice cream?"
The response I got back was an exacerbated," a vanilla what?"
Now growing a bit annoyed I clarified," how about a small vanilla shake?"
I think she finally realized I'd be taking something vanilla home regardless, price be damned, and thankfully put it on the screen. I then proceeded to pull up to the window, patiently wait for 10 minutes (annoying again but things may have been busy), then paid and collected my items.
I then pulled into their parking lot to offer my pup the ice cream and sneak a bit of my loaded omelet biscuit, but when I took a bite I noticed it was rather bland. There was egg and cheese, but nothing else, when there's supposed to be sausage, bacon, and ham too.
Much more annoyed now, I then returned to the drive way and asked if I could get a biscuit with the meat, they said they could (easy enough). So once I finally made it through the que, returning my buiscuit in exchange for the "good one", I checked again and found it was short.. again. I suppose the loaded omlet buiscuit amounts to two small square cubes of ham (the kind you might normally buy in the freezer section of hyvee) wrapped deep within the center of the egg. No sausage or bacon.
Not about to waste my time further, I then left, but once thoroughly irritated promised to leave my first bad review of this short life. This will also probably be my last visit to this location, but I may try my luck at a different one, because I didn't know before that Hardees makes biscuits homemade.
Also, thank you to the second service lady who handed me the "good one", I saw her the first time and she was just as pleasant and smiley as last time, hence why I upgraded my service rating to two stars. Thank...
Read moreThis visit was for a quick run through the drive through. Well, that was the plan. I ordered a bacon sandwich and some french toast sticks. The French toast sticks had to be cooked while we waited, but they gave me an old sandwich that only got worse waiting for the rest of the food. The French toast sticks were pretty good, but the bfast sandwich wasn't. Considering the sandwich was the primary reason for the visit, adding French toast to the order was a last minute decision. I was glad I did, as I would wind up throwing most of the sandwich away. It completely disintegrated in my hands, and after more than one attempt to reassemble and make it edible, I finally gave up. Crumbs all over my clothing, hands, car.. the eggs were cold and dry anyway. The biscuit was my main desire, but was rubbery-like, a complete disappointment.
Considering it all, the prices at the restaurant have increased exponentially to top it off. It's been a while since we had last visited, and will...
Read moreFood is a good standard for fast food - my review isn’t based on the food though.
Everytime we go there is one girl (black hair, young) who works the evening shift that never welcomes you, says hi, or anything - she takes your order, doesn’t thank you or direct you to the window - then when you get there she opens the window, hands the bag out and says absolutely NOTHING! this is the same girl that forgot my mayonnaise so I waited by the window for her to come back, for 10 minutes or more, and she never showed even though the restaurant was dead…so I pulled around and walked in and what do you know, she’s suddenly standing by the drive thru window playing on her phone.
I know if I pulled that at my customer service job I’d be fired...
