What an absolute disaster this place is! I had misgivings before I walked in, but I thought to myself, "Hey, what could go wrong? I'm just going to order a deep dish with only pepperoni, so that should be a cinch and there shouldn't be anyway for them to mess it up, right?" WRONG! When I enter, the only halfway serious worker there, the blonde chick at the front, takes my order. For some reason it took her a while to understand what I want. (I described it as the large, rectangular deep dish pizza because I didn't know the name of it, but it's a pizza that LC has been making for years and even sometimes has in the warmers ready for spontaneous customers.) Anyway, she said it would be only 7 minutes and she was ready to take my money. Thank goodness I came "prepared" and left my wallet in the car on purpose so I could say I don't have my wallet on me and ask, "Can I pay when it's ready?" She said yes. So, I waited. A few minutes into my wait, she offers me a drink from the cooler for my trouble. It hadn't even been 7 minutes yet, but I thought that was nice. (Nope, she knew I was in for a long wait even after telling me only 7 minutes.) She offered the girl next to me a drink, and that girl said she already had one. She looked like she had been waiting there a long time already. I stand there...and stand there... and stand there. The whole time I'm watching one round pizza after another come out of the oven, more customers coming in to either pickup preorders or to order, and employees goofing off. The lady who took my order and offered me the drink had disappeared and would be gone for about 30 minutes while everyone was goofing off in the kitchen. They were all a bunch of kids. Not one serious adult anywhere in site. No real manager on duty anywhere. Some of them had their pants down below their butts with nothing but underwear showing. I kid you not, but the same employees (looked like brothers) kept asking the same customers pretty much literally every 3 minutes to describe the pizza they ordered! They would forget and ask again in 3 minutes, and they never bothered to check the screens to see what was ordered and were just completely clueless and dopey acting (and I mean the "dope" in dopey). Me and another customer were marveling at the complete disorganization of it all. At some point the girl who took my order over 30 minutes ago comes in and ask me about my order, and when I say I'm waiting on it still (obvious as I'm standing there), she rolls her eyes, as if she is not surprised that while she was gone half the night the place operated like it was run by preschoolers. She didn't do anything really helpful to expedite my order. The zoo continued to be the zoo. Finally after waiting about 45 mins on a 7 min pizza, I told the customer next to me that if the next pizza comes out and it's not a deep dish, I'm outta here. Sure enough, another round pizza came out (probably the 20th or 30th) and I bailed. All I got for waiting 45 minutes was a 20 oz soda. Thank goodness I didn't give them any money! I would seriously advise not going to this Western Avenue location until they get their act together, fire the lazy, goofball workers who don't deserve the wages they're paid, and get some real management in there. I don't know how they stay in business. Yet, all the time I see gullible fools like myself standing there subjecting themselves to the treatment I received. (Btw, at several points I was asked what I ordered and they acted like they were getting it in the oven but never did and this repeated itself.) When will they...and I...ever learn?! OH, AND THE GIRL THAT WAS STANDING NEXT TO ME WHEN I WALKED WHO LOOKED AS THOUGH SHE HAD BEEN THERE A LONG TIME ALREADY, SHE WAS STILL STANDING THERE WITHOUT HER ORDER WHEN I LEFT 45 MINUTES LATER! how pathetic and what a joke (but an...
Read moreAfter my visit to store 001400–00002 on Western Ave. I have never seen a more incompetent and unprofessional bunch of employees in my life. I sent my sons in to get a thin crust pepperoni and a three meat pizza and crazy bread. They came home with a burnt thin crust, supreme, and cold crazy bread. I called and let them know that they gave us the wrong pizza. A Female employee answered the phone and then with the worst attitude possible, said “are you going to come back and get it?” I took the pizza and returned. I re-ordered a crazy bread and was waiting for 30 minutes. There were numerous customers in there who were waiting before my sons even left the first time. The gentleman ahead of me got his crazy bread and I was left standing there. The employee named Kevin asked if I was still waiting on it and I said yes. He proceeds to go over and get it ready and then tells me it wasn’t done yet and he had to put it back in the oven. I had been waiting long enough. I requested my money back. I was not the only customer to do this in a 30-45 minute window. This was also after a male employee went to get his check cashed while there were people waiting. His statement as he was walking out was, “There ain’t nothing in the oven.” There was at least 4 people waiting on food. The female employee was on her phone texting. Her and the younger male employee were also talking about things that shouldn’t be discussed at work. I understand being short staffed and having to wait. I would never complain about that as I am in the customer service industry as well. However, I do have a problem with employees giving customers attitude and grief because they just want their correct order and you’re not doing your job properly. I will never go back to that location again. I would rather go out of my way then to have to deal with...
