8/16/2022: I try not to eat fast food often but when I do Taco Bell is normally my choice due to their vegetarian/vegan friendly options but this location has issues all around:
-They are always SLOW. -Their hours are whatever the crew working feels like, it doesn't matter what the posted hours are; they often open late and close early. -Sometimes they all take a smoke break at the same time and tell anyone pulling in the parking lot they are closed. -Sometimes they'll have a long line in the drive through and suddenly come out and tell everyone in line they have to leave because they aren't taking orders anymore. -Some days they take cash only.
But they are also very creative with messing up food orders. They seem to be good at leaving out main ingredients and serving random things. A few months ago I went through the drive through and ordered a few items including a bean burrito. When I got home the bean burrito was missing the beans. Another time I ordered several items and they substituted all the beans in the various items with a little bit of chicken. Well I stupidly decided to give it another try on my way home tonight and went inside this time. There was only one person in front of me waiting and they had already ordered before I walked in. I ordered a vegetarian power bowl (beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and sauce) and waited a long time to get my food even though they only had the one person in front of me inside and 2 cars in the drive through. When I finally got my food I glanced in the bag and saw that the bowl was there and left. I should have checked closer because when I got home it was just lettuce and rice. The beans, guacamole, etc were all missing. I don't know if they do this on purpose to people who order off the vegetarian menu or if it's all around but it's pretty bad either way. It doesn't help that they rarely give you a receipt so if you don't notice right when they hand you the food it's impossible to dispute what you got. Not that they care anyway. This is the worst Taco Bell I've...
Read moreI have tried to give this taco bell location many chances. I'm not one to make an assumption on an entire establishment after 1 bad experience. But every time I've been here, I've had nothing but bad experiences. Firstly, they kept giving me cheese on my food the first 3 times I went here even though I asked for no cheese. Because I was in the drive-thru I didn't notice till I got to work and therefore had nothing to eat for lunch those days. Finally I started to say that I have a dairy allergy while ordering (which I shouldn't have to do), and that finally made them stop putting it on my food. Every time I've been here I've been in the drive thru line for at least 10 minutes! This last, and final, time was about 17 minutes. Today, when I opened up my order for my 7 layer burrito the entire burrito fell apart. The tortilla was just folded over itself haphazardly. The ingredients were not proportioned properly, meaning it had mostly beans and just a sprinkling of rice and lettuce, and the potatoes I had added on were only on one end of the burrito. Also, the guacamole was missing. A part of the burrito, the best part, that I paid for was missing. It tasted and looked like a 7 year old made it. To top it off, while the staff still say "thank you" and "have a nice day" it was very mechanical and uncaring. Their whole demeanor and tone is that of almost annoyance that there is even a customer there to take care of. They didn't even ask if I needed any sauce. One of the simplest things that every taco bell employee asks. In the future, I will go out of my way to the one Broadway where they never get my order wrong, my food is always delicious, and the staff is so friendly that they get excited to see you if you're a regular. And despite how far away it is, I'm sure I'll still get my food faster at that one than I...
Read moreThis is, I believe, the worst Taco Bell in the state.
At 8:40 I ordered on the app to pickup in store. The side I was on said "use the front door" so I was just going to run in and head out. After putting in my order I went to the front door and it was locked. there were no signs saying that the lobby was closed or anything, and I'm used to Taco Bell lobbies being open til 9 or so minimum. I go to the app to cancel my order and upon pressing cancel or seconds before the app switches to "being made" and I can't cancel my order with the drive-thru wrapped around the building. So I get in line. 15 minutes later I get to the speaker and am told my order isn't there and they can't make it for me because it's not there and it's it has to be paid for.
There is no escape from this drive-thru. It's one lane. So I waited til I got to the window to show the lady my order on my phone, where it said it was being made, that I couldn't cancel it, and I even showed her where it already charged my card. I had made sure it was the correct location before ordering, but since it was set for pickup that its possible that it wasn't showing on the drive thru but at one of the front registers, they glance over, say its not there, they don't even have drawers in (which shouldn't matter since it was paid for online) and they can't make my food. So I left, lost 10 dollars since it was already charged, and left still hungry because they don't have the decency to post when they close their...
