So I love panda express I even wrote a good review about the one in Turkey Creek I’ve been to the one on the University on Cumberland they were all great and when we came in when they still had 45 minutes or an hour to closed they would cook what they didn’t have for us the manager even said that it was what they were supposed to do and I’m just gonna say orange chicken is one of the most popular items and I feel like you should always have both sides of rice and noodles we called ahead because they were only open till 930 that’s what it said online and they said that the drive-through is open till 10 when we got there 12 minutes after nine they had no Rice or chow mein still looks good but that’s all they had for size they only had two orders of spring rolls nothing else and they had maybe four choices for protein and when I asked if they were making anymore they said no that they were just out even though they still had close to an hour before close when we checked out we asked for plum sauce and then they were out of that too I’ve been to this location one time before and it was good and it was late to and I don’t understand what happened in the two months between now and then I don’t know if they got new crew members but the woman that took care of us she was rushing us she wouldn’t even check if they were going to do this she didn’t even check in the back for the plum sauce and in a nice way though she was being rude and I come to panda express all the time I love panda express it’s probably one of the only places I get chow mein noodles from out of every Chinese place ever even the expensive ones panda express is my favorite or at least my favorite for chow mein and we come here at least once or twice a month sometimes more and it’s just the fact that they told us over the phone when we called ahead of time that they were open till 10 and we called at nine you know that when we got there 15 minutes later they were basically out of everything and didn’t even try to make it better or more accommodated how are you supposed to take care of the customers that come after us that’s why I’m giving this location one star and a long review so if you have to choose a panda express in Knoxville and the Cumberland Avenue one is closed make the trip to Turkey CreekDon’t come...
Read moreupdate After spending 40 minutes on the phone with DoorDash, we were able to get a refund and our dasher was able do be paid. After speaking with customer service, we were told that the restaurant absolutely has the power on their end to not only cancel orders, but to update items that are 86 for the night, which they should have been doing.
Ordered through DoorDash. Ordered sesame chicken, 2 egg rolls and fried rice large plate and Rangoon. Order was accepted by restaurant. Dasher was notified and went to pick up the order. When he arrived, we were notified by the dasher that the restaurant was out of fried rice, egg rolls, and sesame chicken. Thinking surly there’s a miscommunication, we called the restaurant ourselves. We explained the situation and was put on the phone with the manager. She informed us that they were in fact out of all of those items for the night and not making more. Our response was that they shouldn’t have accepted the order if they were out and they needed to cancel the order on their end so that we would be issued a refund and our dasher would still be paid. The restaurant is at fault for not having the items listed and accepting the order in the first place. Her response was that we needed to do it on our end and call door dash and ask for a refund. We explained that that is not how it works, they have the option to cancel orders on their side and again it shouldn’t have been accepted if they didn’t have the items. She was very rude and said she couldn’t do that and wasn’t able to do it on her end and that’s all she had to say. So now, we’re currently being told by DoorDash that since the order was accepted by the restaurant and the dasher arrived to pick it up, we can’t cancel it on our end for a refund. The restaurant is responsible in the first place. Horrible...
Read moreThis actually happened!!!!!!!!!! So while my girlfriend was out running around last night , She goes to Panda Express on Broadway and orders a lemonade. The total was two something. She had it in change, quarters and stuff laying in the cup holder. So she paid using that to get it out of the car. As she was watching the guy fill up the cup with water. She gets the drink and tries it. She tells them its water. The manager says no its not. She again says yes its water I saw him fill it up. The guy speaks up and says well we were out of lemonade. The manager says okay will thats fine I give you your money back and then said you paid in change, you are getting it back in change. She proceeds for 6 min to count out two dollars and something in pennies and says have a nice day now leave or I am calling the police.
The next visit she goes through the drive threw. Same guy takes her order. She orders the food. As she pulls up the guy sees her and starts to laugh. When she gets the food she checks it and the containers only had rice in them.
The next visit was tonight. She goes threw the drive threw and this time it’s a lady. She pays for the food and then is given one of the three boxes of food. As she is checking it, because of all the problems we have had the lady slams the window shut and sets her food down on the inside. Comes back then give her a very nasty look and hands her the rest of the food. If I could rate this store a negative five I would do so. I have gotten better service at a jail kitchen where the inmates cooked the food. Plus the food wasn’t any better than what I ordered in my school cafeteria when I was in...
