I hate to give bad reviews. Look at my history. I give 4-5 stars every where I go, with rare exception. That’s because businesses try to do the right thing and they shouldn’t get bad reviews because it doesn’t help business. However, when a business deviates from good, honest practices, I feel it is my responsibility to tell my neighbors in the community.

I am sorry to say this, BUT DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I had the worst experience, and frankly, have had bad experiences in the past, but thought maybe I encountered them on a bad day. First, they charged me three times for an order of hams for a number of clients and important people to my practice. Second, despite repeated calls, they refuse to answer. This has happened in the past. I will keep trying, but if history is any indicator, they won’t answer and I’m going to have to take this up with ownership of the company. Just to simply make 2 refunds.

Note: I have picked up hundreds of hams and delivered them in the past, so I think I have the experience to give this review, as someone who has worked with this branch for over 15 years. I would rather just buy a ham somewhere else. Seems like an easier solution. This is particularly disappointing because of my extensive history with them.

PS: after I called again many times, I was placed on hold and finally spoke with a seasonal worker who told me no manager or authority figure of any kind was available or even on site. SHOCKING, RIGHT?? 🤣 it’s Christmas and by far HBHs busiest and most profitable time of the year. And no manger is present or anyone capable of performing a refund? What? This is why I doubt I will get my refund until I go to ownership. Also, the employee I spoke with hung up the phone on my face. Not joking. I think she was too busy to speak with me. Seriously.

Since this is a restaurant/ food establishment you would think you would walk in and smell delicious ham and food, but you are met with the most horrible artificial fragrance smell like walking into a bath and body works. I went in for a ham bone and was ready to be upsold on turkey or ham, but I couldn't get out fast enough. The smells of cleaner or wall flowers or something did me in. Artificial fragrance causes allergies and endocrine system disruption and no one should be using them, but I expect them in certain places....just not where I go to get food. I hope you can find a fragrance free alternative. There is no bad smell that needs to be covered. This isn't a boys locker room. I sure will miss this place unless things...

The management here is unforgivable in preparing for a holiday weekend. I stopped in to get some sliced ham and sides for Sunday after calling yesterday to confirm we could buy it by the pound. After waiting in line I was told the manager decided this morning to reserve the sliced ham and wasn’t selling it. The woman remembered speaking to me yesterday as well as several others, so she asked around and ultimately they refused to sell slices wanting me to buy an entire ham. While there waiting, people were also turned away for sandwiches, maybe a sign on the door would make for better customer service here. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and no...
