Panera Bread — Restaurant in Kochville Township

Went inside to get a order. As I stood near the pickup window. There was a white woman with dark brown hair wearing it in a ponytail. And there was a white man with blonde hair and eyeglasses hair pulled in a ponytail as well. Both of them when I stood there said nothing. Didn't say hi did not ask what I needed. The lady was extremely rude and very unprofessional when I asked her questions about my order. She had a attitude as well as the man next to her. A blk male customer came up to the pickup window and asked about his food. The male worker gave it him without marking the drinks he had ordered so he would know what it is. The customer said are you sure this is a the correct chai and the male worker said I Think so? Really. So he shook the customers drink and said yes this is the chai. As soon as the customer took his drinks and food to his table. The white woman and man whispered negative comments and both started laughing. Neither workers told the guy hav a good day. They handed me my order without putting 2 hot drinks in a tray. Instead I had to ask. And the male worker slid the tray to me. I told him u put it in the tray. I witness racism upfront. I would never ever buy anything from this location as well as tell everyone I know to not eat...

I had a doctor's appt in Saginaw. Afterwards thought I would get an iced coffee, and bagel @ drive thru. I was the only one in the drive thru. It took a bit to be acknowledged. I let her know was member of sip club to which she took my phone number. She didn't verify it was me by name ( which others do) and couldn't give me a total. She just said will get it when come to the window. When they finally opened the window after a minute or so, she hands me my iced coffee which was spilling because the lid wasn't on it. She didn't apologize but, I fixed it. I think should have offered a new one because lid not on. I asked for more cream, which she gave me. I think her nails were so long she couldnt put lids on well. I paid her then she handed me my bag w bagel that wasn't very warm ( was toasted) and cream cheese. It took a long time and didn't seem to know what was doing/ new. The customer service needs work. If working with food, nails should be shorter than super long for sanitary reasons. The vebal communication wasnt very clear. I felt like i was bothering them. The food was fair. It's usually better at other Paneras have been to. I won't be returning to the Saginaw one anytime soon. Please work on...

First time ever there, I wasn't really impressed.

To start with, the lobby is chaos. My wife and I walked in, there are a row of touch screens to the right, a mass of people congregated in what I guess is the middle of the lobby. I could not tell where you were supposed to order at first. Finally we realize we can order at the counter, that the mass of people were hiding.

The dessert counter is in an awkward location, in relation to everything else in the lobby (but that's my opinion). Maybe it is a good location if they have structure in place for the people waiting to order.

I ordered an Italian Sandwhich, which is usually safe item for me to get. I feel mine lacked flavor, and it was chopped. I did not care for the stuff chopped up.( Shame on me for not reading the description, but a chopped Italian?) It was a decent size sandwhich. My hunger was satisfied by the time I finished. I'm not sure if it had more to do with the size of the sandwhich, or how chewy the bread was. I am not complaining because the bread was pretty good.
