I love starbucks and will defend against the stereotype . However, this location most of (not all) the baristas i have had have been catty, rude. Always in that passive aggressive sort of way. It's unfortunate ruining what could have been a pleasant experience. And often simple things. My child wanting to pay for his own drink and dropped the dollar having to pick it up and hand it to her again. Sorry for the 10 seconds wasted but maybe don't catch an attitude with a 4 year old. Ordered on the app on my way there. Got to the drive thru and it had only been 3 minutes since the second order (for a lemonade) went through. She gets shitty with me "maybe next time you wait longer to pick up were working on it." Really? Its a lemonade...What if I would have ordered at the speaker? Then what? Should I wait longer to drive around the building? Zero people in line and very few cars in the parking lot. Another thing they are really good at is making me drive back around and wait in the drive thru line for a 2nd time because my mobile order isnt ready while then letting the car that just ordered from the speaker behind me sit there at the window and wait for their order. I for the life of me can not understand the sense in this. I could write a book on this location just from the last year I've been in the area -Sincerely a frustrated customer that just wants his damn coffee without...
Read moreI want to love this place, it's mostly fine honestly, I've just had a few problems there is all. Usually they are right on the money, quick, good tasting, what more do you want?
I just wish they would call out your name when they finish a mobile order, because when I'm waiting inside I never know it's ready. And they default to setting it by the window, assuming I'm coming through the drive through. And yes I know, I can just go up and ask at the counter.. but you see, they won't make eye contact, and if they do, they pretend they didn't. I don't want to be rude and try getting their attention, I don't think I should have to, if I'm standing at the counter, staring at you, raising my eyebrows expectingly, perhaps I want something and you should ask me. Maybe I'm crazy, I don't know, but I'm not the only one I know who's had this issue. And I'm only taking one star for it so it's not...
Read moreThe workers at the DT window are consistently rude and they have such a hard time with mobile orders. My experience today was probably the worst customer service I have received anywhere in a while. I told the worker at the speaker I had a mobile order; he asked what time I ordered it and then did not wait for my response before insisting that there is no way it would be ready yet (even though the app said 3-6 minutes - it had been 5, and I had already received the notification that it was ready. I always wait for the “ready to go” notification before getting in line). He said we would have to pull around and wait if it was still not ready. We waited behind the cars in front of us; when we got to the window he shoved the drink out the window and said “NOW it’s ready”. So incredibly rude for no reason. Avoid this location if you can, State St is so...
