I'm normally pro chipotle when I'm craving my usual double chicken burrito. Upon entering the restaurant and making my way to the food bar I noticed numerous food entries that was dry and brittle. The white rice pan was about completely finished and what was left over looked over cooked as if the temperature was higher than normal. The pinto beans were completely dry and pasty. I asked the gentleman that was serving if there were any refreshments of white rice and pinto beans and he said no. I was hesitant about making my way down the food food bar and completing my burrito and two steak bowls orders but I felt reluctant for the server to throw the food away. The guacamole that was on display for serving was completely brown and asked for fresher guacamole and the one that was brought out had the same awful color. The portions were subpar and had to ask several times for extra entries of choice. Im not the person to complain or make a fit about food or service but I had to speak up and ask for the manager concerning my observation and was talked over about my several complaints. Did not want to make a big issue over my bad experience so I paid for my order and left and will not be visiting this location anytime in the future. Here's pictures of the not so fresh steak bowls...
Read moreI'm just going to start off by saying Ezra has IMPECCABLE customer service skills. There was a customer (male) 2 people ahead of me who seemed very particular about how his order was prepared. As Ezra was assisting the customer in front of me (female), I assume he went to grab a condiment that was near the male customer's food. When the male customer noticed this (as he was leaning on the barrier glass), he outstretched his hand and tried to assault Ezra (smack him across the head). Ezra, kept his composure, apologized to the customer (which he shouldn't have had to after the customers actions, the customer should have just been asked to leave at that point), and proceeded to finish with the order he was working on. When Ezra had arrived to help me, he was doing everything in his power to keep his composure, and trying to put on a smile for me. He eventually did step in the back, which I thought was absolutely necessary given the experience he had just had, and my order was finished by another kind gentleman. I spoke with a very nice woman who had cashed me out who explained that Ezra was still new.
The way he kept his composure, and still tried to go above and beyond for his next customers is something that should be recognized...
Read moreIt was OK. Sort of......? A fancier fast food is what this is. We expected better for the prices. Not worth what it costs AT ALL. I think it's a bit pricey for a burrito with what you ask for in it. $8.00 for a burrito? Not including a drink or any Queso or chips. Not to mention we were rushed through the line. We had never been there before so, needed a few seconds to see what we were going to order. They pushed us through quickly. Basically, it's exactly like a Subway except different food. I didn't care for the steak at all. It was COLD and TOUGH with A LOT of GRIZZLE in it. I had a very hard time chewing it. Wanted to spit it out but, I have manners. If you're spending $40 for two people here it shouldn't be cold or tough. The Queso was good but, a bit too hot/spicey. We couldn't eat it. It wasn't awful. But, it was not worth what we paid for two people. We were really disappointed. We won't go again. We could have eaten at a nice mexican restaurant for the price, where the food is hot and not too tough to eat. For a few bucks more you could go have a drink and eat a fantastic meal at Genji's Japanese Steak House or Los Quatro Amigos was exactly what we said to eachother when we left. So...
