Country Squire Carry Out — Restaurant in Kokomo

I ordered the shrimp dinner with roasted potatoes, I thought roasted potatoes were diced potatoes I guess they’re not. They are wedges. They are okay I guess. The shrimp once it cooled down, they started to get chewy and I just couldn’t do it no more so then I’m thinking awesome. I have a dessert and it’s the new apple cinnamon thing they advertise. I’m so excited I’m thinking this is going to be crazy good…… I thought wrong…… They were the most bland apples I’ve ever had in my life I promise you it was like eating apples out of water and not just that picture boiling apples in the water and then a dash of cinnamon that’s what you get. With that being said, $30 down the drain. I don’t think I will ever eat here again. I’m not one who usually leaves reviews, let alone negative ones but I am kind of upset about this. Somewhere I read about this place as “The Place” for chicken here in Indiana.. and that may have been about 9 months ago. Ever since, I’ve wanted to go there and see what the hype was about. And so I did yesterday. 50 minutes of driving up and through some annoying construction, then the turns on streets until.. the restaurant itself appeared. Very unassuming. Quaint. Perfect. I ordered and received the best-packed 12 piece and sides to bring all the way back home. Delicious. Crispy. Still piping hot, even after that long ride home. I absolutely will be back! I love the chicken here but... Last week we at ITP 1 ordered from there and did not receive two meals. We called to report the missing meals and the lady wanted to argue with us. She said she plated the meals herself and that someone must of stole them, then she said the person that placed the order did order the two meals that were missing. We asked the lady her name and she refused to give us her name. Now keep in mind the monies we gave the person that delivered the meals included the money for the two missing meals. They refused to make it right with us. They told us they WILL NOT COME BACK OUT TO ITP1 to give us the meals even if we reordered them and repaid for them.
