Jerry was fabulous to work with when it came to purchasing our furniture. We spent $5,000 on a new sectional, recliners, lamps, and end tables. We even went back after that experience and purchased a new mattress.
It has been only 1 year since purchasing our furniture and we have had to have the ottoman FIXED after only having it for 6 months (they wouldnât replace it). The seams came undone and the top droops in the center and looks like we have had a 100lb weight sitting on it the whole time we have had it. It looks the same after it was fixed except for the undone seam. We purchased recliners that were over $700 a piece and one of them is already broken. It is lopsided and then the motor quit working and itâs stuck and we canât get it down. We called to let Jerry know and him and his wife, who also works there, told us the warranty is only for a year and thereâs nothing they can do for us. Our living room looks ridiculous and we wonât even be able to sell our furniture to be able to buy new because of how poor it looks and for the simple fact that one of our recliners is broken.
We have brought repeated business to this store, we even referred our brother and he purchased a sofa from here. Along with the poor quality of our furniture, the customer service POST purchasing the furniture has been horrific. We were told about the one year warranty in the first place, but we had no idea that the furniture would be this horrible and we had no idea that we would be turned away like we have been.
We are extremely heartbroken as we saved up for a long time to buy this furniture and also worked really hard to be able to purchase it. I canât believe the service we have received post purchase. We will not be referring anyone else to this business and we will never...
   Read moreMy family and I are long term business owners in Kokomo. The past 3 months, we have spent close to 15 grand at best deal furniture. They delivered my furniture today, and accidentally crushed my wall corner and outside trim. It was a complete accident and the movers didn't mean to do it. I even still bought them lunch for moving the furniture! Completely understandable. I contacted Jerry, the Manager. He talked with the movers and I sent him pictures. They were honest and admitted to the accident. I told Jerry I simply wanted the corner fixed, that's all. Instead of being an honest business knowing what happened and all parties admitting, he calls me back and refers me to the agreement I signed and basically told me they wouldn't do anything for me and damaging my new wall even though he knows they did it! I was completely shocked and extremely disappointed in the response and the way Best Deal did business, especially after me and my family were returning customers multiple times. I even referred others. That's not honest, and that's not how a good business conducts itself. I was happy with the furniture we have bought, and same with my friends and family, but I would have never done business if I knew they were scammers and bad business owners. Again, that isn't honest and it's completely unfair to the paying customer, especially one who has spent so much money with you. All I wanted was nice furniture delivered to my new home.    Read moreBrowsed the south store and was just looking around because I just bought a place and needed furniture I've delt with them in the past with different people but anyways went in the south store and there was a lady there that asked if I was looking for anything special and I told her I was just browsing and she said okay take your time my name is Erlene let me know if you need anything so I got to walking and she was slowly walking behind me so I went and looked at the other side of the store and I was still being followed I asked if I could have a minute and she said yes take your time I'll be right over here and then starts talking more.. I didn't even get much of a chance to look so I left now I that's why I give it 4 stars because she took one.. now the 4 stars is because of Karen Weaver she was AMAZING let me have my peace and didn't bother me one bit and was VERY great with her customer service and explaining everything and when she didn't know a few things she'd call right there and get the awnsers for me so I ended up with a sofa and love seat from the north store and ended up having it delivered the next week! The guys were great and careful with my stuff so very please about the north store and the delivery service! SO Shout Out to Karen Weaver and the 2 delivery guys! If it wasn't for yall I would've never gave such a good rating Or heck even a rating at all! Thank you!
