I bought 2 air fryers from this store, both packed up like they were new. Both ended up being soiled with actual food splatters (very visibly used) and one didn't even have any of the racks. The return policy is almost nonexistent (within 14 days you can get store credit), and clearly you can't really have any buyer's confidence (as both of the air fryers were retaped and reboxed as if new). My advice for others shopping here is to avoid the expensive items. Use gambling rules here...only spend it if you plan to lose it.
I would be remiss to not reply here, because what's right is right, and what's wrong is wrong. Also I feel my veracity has been challenged. I do not post reviews lightly. I spent a great deal of time and effort that could have been avoided by a vigilant seller. Not to mention, I was promised assistance regarding the return policy at 10 AM only to be told that I would need to wait until noon for resolve. I had to insist that I get the help promised. A call was then made to the owner and a refund was issued. I appreciate that necessary actions are being taken toward improvement in quality control. As a consumer, I expect to be able to rely on businesses, especially those with stringent return policies, to ensure quality within whatever it is one chooses to sell (most definitely if pricey, but also previously returned items are what is being sold). That is what i mean by "buyer's confidence."
In case it helps the quality control, especially since it escaped detection a second time by staff: The visible soiling on the Emeril Lagasse toaster oven was grease splatter, mostly on the inside of left French glass door. And a thick smear of dark grease along the right side panel on the inside of the oven. It was indeed also missing a tray. The Gourmia glass was untaped, the unit all unpacked and unwrapped, missing all trays (i.e. it has at least been in someone else's home all unpacked...
Read moreGreat store, great discounts, great people. I've been there many times. During Covid, they put together an Easter basket for my daughter and I paid through paypal - and it was just darling! It is a discount store where they buy products other stores have surplus or late season. Everything I've bought there has had great sales and have never had to return anything. Sure, it is marked up from the price they bought it for - that's just how any business makes money. Target, Lowes -they all do that! DUH! I just read the most recent review - 1 star and I laughed! They aren't reviewing the store- they're just mad. This guy wrote that Humble Home came and bought the whole store Pop Shelf as they were going out of business. He wrote "Over priced and not solid products" because Humble Home bought out the store and didn't allow customers to purchase the items. If they weren't solid products, why is he upset customers can't buy them at the Pop Shelf? Did Humble Home make them not solid products but they WERE solid products at Pop Shelf? I'm confused?!?! Anyway, go to Humble Home. You'll find something you like at great prices - and if you're lucky, you'll be able to see Potato - their adorable dog! :). I'm going back...
Read moreI recently moved to Kokomo and have an entire house to furnish but had no idea where to even start to look for furniture in town. My mom, who lives here, suggested Humble Home as a place to start my search. I’m glad she did because I found two beautiful sofas that were exactly the color and style I had been looking for online and in Pinterest posts. Rene was incredibly helpful setting up delivery as well as giving me other decorating tips. I’m the type of person that needs to see and touch the product before buying which makes online shopping tough for me. This store has furniture and accessories for every room and every style. I’m looking forward to having my sofas delivered this week and can’t wait to go back and shop for more furniture for the other rooms in my new house. The prices can’t be beat and the customer service was beyond stellar. Thank you again, Rene! I love...
