Recently placed a order for delivery here for 1 large and 2 medium pizzas. Delivery took about a hour longer then what I was told over the phone. Wasn't impressed at this point but these things do happen it's not always in your control.
Once the driver arived he proceded to hand me 3 large pizzas. I ask the driver if I had received large instead of medium's to make up for extra time for delivery. He responded quite rudely by telling me I was wrong that I had ordered 3 large pizzas and there would be no discount.
Now not having enough cash on me to pay for this more expensive order I put it on credit. As I was inside getting my credit card the got the credit machine ready to the point that all I had to was put my card in and enter the pin. I thought this was strange but after waiting for so long I just wanted my food in my hands and to be done with the whole situation.
As soon as the transaction was completed he handed me the pizza quicky walked over to his car and drove off in a hurry. Now inside finally sitting down to enjoy my meal, I open the first pizza. Not what I ordered! Move on to the next one, also wrong and then the third was just peperoni and sauce with out even cheese on it!
By this point I am angry and I go to check the recept that the driver crumpled up and threw at me. None of the pizzas i ordered are on it and to top it all off I now see that their punk driver added a 75 dollar tip to my credit card!!!
This is down right theft at this point so I call in and ask to speak to managent. I am told he is busy at the moment and am told I will be put on hold for a short period of time. After waiting on hold for 25 miunits I hang up and call back asking for management again.I am told "WE SAID HE WAS BUSY WHY ARE YOU CALLING AGAIN" at thi's point I respond that their employee had stolen from me and I didn't speak to management immediately the next call would be to the police. This seemed to do the trick and he was on the line within seconds.
I explain what had happened expecting to have a full refund at the very least buy the manager basicly told me it was my own faul for not checking the pizzas before the driver left and that he is not involved in the employee tip rate's. I said that this is rediculess and that I was going to be making a police report about theft by their company. After this he laughs and says good luck and hangs up on me.
Now furious and defeated I throw out the pizzas and ask my wife if she would pick up some Chinese food. She says yes no problem so I pick up the phone to order and right when I'm about to hit call it rings. I answer the phone, it's the manager of pizza junkiez. He is now screaming at me that it's my own fault for not being smart with my credit card that the police will just laugh at me. I tell him we will just have to see about that this infuriates him even further. Now he tells me that he knows where i live and that if I go to the police he will be coming to pay me a visit in the night.
I am dumbfounded at this point. I will definitely be going to the police and if he decides to pay me a visit he will have to negotiate with my .45
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CRIMINALS! THE NAME SAYS IT ALL. JUNKIEZ AND PUNKS. I CANNOT BELIVE THE IMMATURITY AND BRAZEN WILLINGNESS TO COMPLETELY SCRW...
Read moreThe pizza is great! The food on the salad bar is great! However, I do have some dislikes about the salad bar. There are only two sizes that you can get if you dine in. There is the side salad which is a tiny little Dixie bowl and then there is a large, which is basically like a mixing bowl. I would love to have an in between size. Also, another thing I dislike about the salad bar is that if I want to get salad and cottage cheese, I would have to put my cottage cheese in my salad. I would love to be able to get salad and cottage cheese both. However, I do not want to have to put my cottage cheese in my salad. My husband and I did get salads there on one occasion and used the little disposable cups that were sitting on the bar to put our cottage cheese in and we were approached by one of the staff telling us that we are not allowed to do that. They do offer another option for the salad bar. You can purchase the salad bar items by weight. One time that I was there, I purchased a salad "by weight" and as I sat down to eat it, I was told that I was not allowed to eat it inside the restaurant. I was told that if I purchase a salad "by weight" that I would have to take it to go. Due to these policies, as well as some of the staff, my husband and I have decided that we will enjoy our pizza and salads elsewhere and significantly limit our visits to...
Read moreUnfortunately, this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve gotten borderline burnt breadsticks from this location despite asking for light bake, twice, and having it doubly confirmed by the lady on the phone. They’re too hard to eat and taste bad in this condition. One time there was cornmeal or something they use on the breadsticks that was so hard it was like eating tiny rocks. The pizza is always good, but not once have I gotten good breadsticks when ordering pickup or delivery. I’m only bothering to add this review because last night after leaving a review for the wrong pizza Junkiez in Indy, though they share owners, a kitchen manager by the name of Katie Strite, whom I’ve never met or spoken to at this location apparently looked me up on my personal Facebook account and sent, then unsent a series of messages, which I can only assume were unkind in nature, otherwise I don’t see the need to look me up and message me at all and then delete the messages? I don’t know but I personally find that to be highly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior and also creepy. Definitely don’t feel comfortable ordering from here again. I usually order under the name Joe, because my fiancé is the one who picks up our orders before anyone says I don’t have an...
