Amazingly bad. Seven o'clock on a Wednesday night, 12 cars in line for the window, so I went inside. First observation of this new store was all the trash in front of restaurant. I think there may have been a few outdoor tables. I don't know, as my first impression was of the trash on the ground and the open trashcans full of trash. 14 people in front of me. Amazingly, the 12 cars in line outside were long gone before I got my food. One person in front and she was rather robotic and disappeared before I got to the counter. The woman who took her place seemed frazzled, as though she was doing the job of three people ( she was). Girl on the register wandering around, halfway wiping tables (yuck!) I watched her at one point put her hands in the trash can, push the trash down a couple of times, punch in orders on the register and then box up food. No gloves. No handwashing. At no time was there more than one person in front of house serving -- and they kept walking off to restock, as only one person in kitchen and he was cooking and cutting meat the entire time. Later, the server in front, with gloves on, ringing up orders when register girl disappeared and then went back to serving without changing gloves. At one point, I looked around and counted 30 people waiting for their orders or waiting to order. Those waiting for food must have ordered online. Brand new store was filthy. Waiting in line for 45 minutes to order gives you lots of time to observe. Open kitchen was filthy. Overflowing trash cans. A dozen dirty, empty serving containers lying around on prep table covering it. Dust on plexiglass (or glass) sneezeguard indicating it hadn't been wiped in days. Food pieces in drink cooler in front of register. No sense of teamwork or cohesion. Everyone glum. Most were robotic, although the crew by the drive thru window (3 of them) seemed to be busting it and the guy cutting meat was steadily working. No wonder drive through so much more efficient than line inside. Just awful. Can't imagine going back unless and until under real management and staff training. Food was OK, but not...
Read moreI have been going through reviews starting from newest and it's appalling to see that reviews ranging from 2 months ago to most current, that there were 8 five star reviews, 5 three and two star reviews and 19!!!! one star reviews!!! The first 20 reviews alone is 2 five star, 4 three star, 3 two star and 11!!! one star all for a location that just opened!!!!
My review is for corporate or chipotle (owner) not doing anything about this! Mind you, I started with the worst reviews just to see if it was minor things I could overlook for the sake of ordering here but it seems like most of these issues have been going on from day one and what is "owner" doing about it? Just saying reach out to us? For what? They're not encrypted reviews. No one is talking in code. Everyone seems to be voicing the same complaints; slow service, sub par management and/or employees standing around, unsatisfactory portions for price paid, location already being gross and unclean for a new location. And the same reviews seem to consistently keep coming. Aren't you concerned about a new location being reviewed so badly right out the gate?
Clearly you don't seem concerned with losing money from people who actually read reviews to see if they want to purchase from your establishment so nothing lost by my skipping this location which is sad because I, like MANY of the bad reviewers, love Chipotle and am disappointed I will have to wait until I'm at another city when this is my hometown and this is the best I'm being offered. No thank you. And no, I won't be reaching out. If you cared about your locations, you would have bothered by now given it was such a brand new location and the best time to get it in top shape to be one of the best locations around. Your revenue loss, not mine.
Oh, and I forgot, even ex Chipotle managers and employees have given low reviews. It's sad when even ex employees are...
Read moreNot sure what management is doing at this new location, but need more training in this NEW store or you will lose faithful customers at this store in KYLE. Unfortunately, tried to use the receipt to provide feedback but KYLE is not on the dropdown list to choose from. We went at night before the store was about to close at 9:48 pm, I understand it was almost closing and the associates at the store were not pleasant, we were not even greeted for 10 mins, and 5 associates just looked at the 4 of us in the store. Manager was present and no response was given when we asked if they are taking our orders. As a fair and paying, returning, and loyal customer, the staff and the manager needs more training. We all ordered the Pastor Chicken bowls but they were out of Pastor, only had regular chicken. The amount that is used by the spoon is subjective on the person but if I am paying then the scoop should be full, not half for all the items especially meat. I feel asking for more lettuce should not be repeated task, 3-4 time before they add more lettuce. The young lady who helped me on 6/20 she was the least nice and friendly so as a manager she should be re-trained and spoken to about the issues noted above. If she continues with this disrespectful behavior that she chose to work at then she should not work there. Thank you for your time to read and listen to this feedback. I hope you take steps to remediate these customer service issues. Just letting you know people do make mistakes and should be given chances to make changes, but I have been coming to this store for few weeks since it has opened and I know that the store is busy and I see that you have a full staff. I hope you know we reviewer and contributor take time out of our day to write detailed reviews and provide you with insight to your operations. Hope we see...
